just another tip with the bouncing: hold the reflector higher than your subject, so you light the subject from above and get a more natural looking light

That was just what I thought! Her nose shadow just doesn´t look right when bouncing from below.

I like this tip, but also believe it is just preference. Depends on the look you are wanting.

As soon as I saw this "Hack" I rushed to the comments to see if anybody was talking about this. It's better to always bounce the light from above so that the light spill feels natural, in this shot (since the bounced light comes frome below) the shadows are antinatural making her face look weird.

Your lighting for your video is much better than a lot of other KZbinrs. They keep doing dark cinematic lighting which just doesn't work for KZbin because people watch on much smaller screens. 👍

I really appreciate how these are hacks that can be applied to any sort of equipment level. I feel like I see a lot of "set your camera to this setting for this hack" type stuff, but for people just starting out that don't know or don't have a camera that can do that, these kinds of tips really emphasize that you can improve your skill set with having to upgrade your tech. I hope there's more tips like this coming, because they're super helpful!

Another Great video bro! on a side note, I don't know if you remember but I commented a while back about getting a Greek realism sleeve done. Well I started it yesterday, went 12.5 hours under the needle and got about half of it knocked out. It's turning out great and I can't wait to get it finished. anyway just wanted to up date you on the progress.
