Joe, can you please do a detailed video on garden insect control. Spider mites, aphids, and japanese beetles?

Thanks Joe! I really enjoyed it! Lots of information and tips! A follow up question - Are the plants going to overwinter outside or do they have to stay indoors to overwinter?

Great video. Thank you. I’ve been curious about propagating from evergreen/conifer shrubs. Is that possible? Regarding deciduous My grandma would put a brick on the lower limb of her azalea or hydrangea to encourage the branch to root. Then she would cut it from the mother plant once it was established. Although I don’t remember how long she would let it establish before separating it.

So, is late August/early September too late for cuttings here in zone 8? In your video you said late spring early summer, but it came to me August 31.

I took cuttings yesterday, from my hydranga. I didn't quite do it correctly and will try again using your tips. My botany class was 35 years ago, lol.

Ugh, non-native hydrangea. I get it, your community isn’t all native plants (ignoring vegetables, of course), but still, to start with it? At least it was your “neighbor’s place”. Otherwise, as always, very solid advice. I’m going to use this advice to proliferate my elderberry grove/hedge.

Thank you for these great tips! I really needed this on my two year old garden. At some point, buying all your plants can get really expensive so this is the way to go.

👀 1. When are you going to post the rooting 👉results?

Thanks, Joe! I’ve just a little bit of propagating, but it is such a great feeling when they root in and thrive!

Landscape fabric most likely.
