This is the opening song of the second original album written and arranged by a trio of teenagers (here they are 18, 16, 13). They are absolutely fierce on stage and the sweetest people you would ever want to meet off stage. And the songs get better and better as the album progresses. Worth listening to (hint, hint).

The Warning are a Power Trio from Monterrey Mexico this is from November of 2018 the Guitarist Daniela was 18, the Drummer Paulina was 16. The warning started doing covers but decided to write their own music early one. Liliac on the other hand continues to do covers and put out albums of covers. You will get it later on💥 This song is from their second full-length album Queen of the Murder Scene that is a concept album. This song is the prologue to the story and you are at the funeral of the charader. The person talking is actually their manager, Rudy, who here acts as a priest giving the sermon at the funeral. This song, even as it served as a prologue to the album is really the end of the story and then for 12 consecutive songs you will follow a character going from frustration to obsession to madness and then finally The End. My suggestion (even if you do not react to each song) is that you follow the songs in order as from the album but see them playing each song in order from this live concert. Read the lyrics and you’ll in for very rate treat. Enjoy

Cool reaction brah! Dust to Dust is the prologue to the concept album Queen of the Murder Scene. The second LP from the band The Warning. QOTMS is a story of a woman that falls in love but doesn't get it in return, she ends up killing the object of her obsession has an internal struggle, embraces what she has become and goes mad in the process. Dust to Dust is the funeral and rebirth of the "Queen". That dude in the middle section is the bands manager, Rudy, he is playing the part of a preacher giving a sermon about salvation.

The Warning are three sisters that started making music very young Alejandra (Ale = Aleh, not the beer. Bass, backing vocals and keyboard, the youngest- 16 as of March 2021) and Paulina (Pau = Pow. Drums, backing/lead vocals and keyboard, middle sister 19 as of March 2021) at 3 and Daniela (Dany = Dany. Guitar, lead vocals and keyboard, the oldest 21 as of March 2021) 5, all learning classical piano. They got the video game Rock Band and fell in love with the feeling of performing on other instruments. Their father asked if they wanted to learn another instrument and the girls jumped at the opportunity and gravitated to the instruments they played in Rock Band. They had been uploading their musical journey to KZbin for their family to see and had wanted to try and play music together as a band around 2012 and rehearsed for a small performance for their school xmas show. Well They loved the experience so much they began learning and playing cover songs of hard rock and metal bands. One song in particular shot them into the limelight. That song, "Enter Sandman" by Metallica had gone viral (currently over 22 000 000 views) and had gotten the attention of Metallica, Dee Snyder and The Ellen Show!.The Warning wrote, composed and recorded an EP called Escape the Mind in 2015 to experience that whole process and to determine what type of music they liked to make... Thankfully they chose Rock/Hard Rock! Ellen Degeneres invited the band to play live on her show, to which they accepted and played Crazy Train by Ozzy Osbourne, after the performance Ellen and Target awarded the sisters $10 000 each to attend Berklee School of Music in Boston. They performed a number of small and large shows afterward and began writing and composing new material for their first full length album XXI Century Blood in 2017. They supported this album with some very high profile gigs like opening for Def Leppard and separately The Killers for two shows each in Mexico. Also following other large rock bands in a couple music festivals. In 2018 they wrote and recorded Queen of the Murder Scene and released it in November of that year and have toured Mexico and South American venues. In June of 2019 they released a single, Narcisista. A scathing rebuke of their Mexican critics that had accused the band of being "Malinchista" a Mexican term used to call out cultural traitors, because the group has only recorded English language songs. Well this song is in Spanish and it is full of attitude and angst fired toward those critics. This was recorded live in June 2019 at Foro Didi in Monterrey Mx (their hometown) - kzbin.info/www/bejne/hWiscnieg5mFg68 The Warning is totally fan funded through Patreon, KZbin and crowdfunding platforms like GoFundMe and Kickstarter. They have turned down offers from record labels and talent shows like American Idol because they did not want to lose their control of their music, image and wanted to focus on learning. In fact in one interview with a record label they were asked if they would rather play to 12 people or 12000. Paulina piped up and said The Warning would rather play in front of 12 if it meant they would keep their integrity and could play the music they want to play, how they want to play... That is the most Rock n Roll quote ever! So after a very successful Kickstarter campaign to raise fund for a North American tour and to record a new album achieving their goal within 24 hours and surpassing that goal by 600%. Unfortunately the Covid19 Pandemic forced the band to cancel their tour plans and postpone making their album. Their last live show before the global lock down was March 14 2020 at the Vive Latino 2020 Festival in Mexico City.This did not stop The Warning from performing though, they played a full concert set from their basement studio/rehearsal space for free for their fans on KZbin and Facebook achieving well over 50000 simultaneous viewers on March 25 2020. They have since performed from The Warning a couple more times including for the city of Brownsville Tx for the Fourth of July virtual celebration and later in the summer for a charity event with rock legends like Slash and Ringo Star. On August 9th 2020 The Warning announced to their Patreon community that after seven long months of negotiations they had signed a five record deal with Lava Records a label under the Republic Records and Universal Music family. During the announcement they reiterated their dedication to their own creative integrity and dedicated fans on Patreon and were able to retain both in their record contract with Lava. In Sept of 2020 The Warning traveled to New Jersey USA to begin rehearsal and eventually recording of their third album. After 3 months of recording and a month and a half of mastering, mixing and editing the third album was completed at the beginning of February 2021. All that remains as of 22 02 21 is the album design and artwork and logistics of the release which will hopefully happen by the end 2021. This is the first song of an amazing concept album called "Queen of the Murder Scene" that they came out with in 2017 I believe. The whole thing is worth listening to in order. However they did just come out with a new single called "Choke", their first since signing with Lava Records. The band's writing is mature and they're all multi-talented. Also the lead singer is usually the guitarist, but the drummer does sing a few of their songs.

Well, you just did "Dust to Dust", wich is the equivalent to buying a book and read it's prologue! In 2018, when they were 18, 16 and 13 yo, The Warning has build a masterpiece called "Queen of the Murder Scene"! This album is made of 13 songs along 4 chapters. “Dust to Dust” is the prologue, which invites the listener into the story and introduces the main character and the main themes - life/death, good/evil, truth/lies, etc. Songs 2 to 5 show her growing obsession, culminating in murder. The remaining songs are told from the point of view of either the young lady's inner psychopath or her good side, which has a conscience - until it does not. This song is the first track and prologue of their album Queen of the Murder Scene. It is a concept album that follows the mental journey of a girl that has a crush, that turns to Obsession, stalking, murder, remorse, acceptance and a decent in to madness... It is a modern rock Masterpiece. This was their show, in Mexico City (elevation 7250ft... thin air to sing and perform in) to debut the album. Paulina (drums) sings lead on this, but Daniela (guitar) is the principle lead singer. Alejandra (bass) is only 13 years old here, and already a Spector bass artist (the youngest ever), and now at 16 has her own signature line of Spector basses coming out soon. This band has been my great passion since back in July of 2013. They have so much passion and work ethics in everything that they do and they really know how to perform on stage. On this performance from November 2018, the bass player Alejandra ( _Ale_ ) was 13, the singing drummer Paulina ( _Pau_ sounds like *POW* ) was 16, and the oldest sister playing the guitar Daniela ( _Dany_ ) was 18 years old. Great band indeed. Despite their youth, they have been performing live since 2013, and have been professionals since 2014. They write and compose all their own music, this song was built around the sick bass line that Alejandra (14 years old in this video) wrote. She is a Spector Bass artist, and has a signature bass being released this year. Knowing you are a fan of Liliac, I would suggest your next foray into The Warning be Dull Knives. Although The Warning does not consider themselves to be a metal band, their songs can be heavy despite bouncing across all genres of rock. I will leave a link to the most recent performance of Dull Knives. It happens to take place in their home studio, and was part of an international fundraiser to benefit small music venues (as a result of the covid closures).
