Do you know if you can use the tamiya cement that comes in the orange bottle? I would think that it would just take longer to fuse together.

I have not used it, so I can't say. To test it I would try it on a couple spare parts or if you don't have any try it on some runner pieces first.

Ay i saw a vid that pours a cement in a cup and put some bits of runner of the part and lets it melt and then puts it does it work on the thin one?

Tamiya Extra Thin Cement is the best. 💯

Oddly enough, not the first coke nail(s) I've seen from the Gunpla community. Good video, though.

I don't understand why you cut a notch in the wing n didn't just leave it in???

Thats because I'm painting it. It makes it easy to disassemble to paint instead of having to mask it all off.

Does it work if it's not extra thin?
@whiskeredgundam77653 жыл бұрын
I have not tried it, but I would assume it would work. It will take a fair amount longer to cure than thin so I would recommend letting it cure over night atleast. Also if you have any spare parts around I would try it on them first.

This comment is 3 years old so you probably don’t need this anymore, but for anyone else reading, I’ve seen other videos where they recommend the normal Tamiya cement (the one with the orange top) since it lets you glob more cement on and form a smoother seam.
