your vids have been the most concise fromm all the other ableton tutorials on youtube. I've been using ableton for a number of years now, but I've been trying to watch videos on random things about ableton that I've never played with. This vid is example of that. Thank you!

I reckon if you're challenging your vocal self, it will be easier and better sounding if you try singing about an octave lower. Your spoken voice works well there so I would expect that it would apply to your singing voice. Hire a tenor or alto for the other parts perhaps? It worked for me after taking similar advice from my wife! Good on the slap back content thanks.

Thanks for the suggestions! I'm definitely not a trained vocalist but I've been getting better singing in this higher register. Unfortunately singing lower doesn't tend to work very well in the style of music I work in, but it's definitely something worth playing around with. ☺️

please make videos about vocal processing though 👀 like even just with the vocals you're using in this video, i'd love to hear the raw vocals and see what you've got going on!

I worked in a recording studio back in the days of analog no computers anywhere. So we would tape slap of the reverb send, this mainly used on vocals or snare drum. I idea was the initial dry sound of the vocal came out so you got a well define note punch sound of the vocal, then the slap delayed the reverb coming in that softened and added space to the vocal. Same with snare drum the dry snare hit and punch then the slap to delay the reverb on the snare sound.
