Spend a day in the kitchen with me preserving strawberry jam
The secret to sweet jam with half the sugar is preserving it in peak season.
Here is our recipe :
Strawberry Jam 🍓
ingredients -
8 cups of water
3 tablespoons of glucomannan or pectin
6 cups of sugar
8 to 10 cups of strawberries
Directions:
Mix water and glucommanon… Luke warm water not hot water!
(I forgot this one important factor in today’s video…🫣)
. If using pectin follow directions on box.
 stir constantly
Once dissolved, add sugar and bring to a low boil.
Put strawberries in a blender or food processor.
Blend well.
Add to water/sugar mixture
Stir for a few minutes or until well mixed 
Let sit and come to room temperature and then add to your containers.
Only fill containers 3/4 full freezing
Makes approximately 10 pint jars
