my dad was an old Hippy that loved VWs, and he love dual Solex carbs, dual carbs help the engine run smoother and get better gas milage he would playfully argue. he also was obsessed with the 1700cc, (1699-85.5X74) that should have been VWs stock engine not the 1600. said the 1700 gives u more low to mid range streetible torque than the 1600. thanks for the video, i know how long they take to film and edit.
