Love learning from you and Feider. As you mentioned i saw his advice on flipping tubes and find it a surprisingly productive search bait. He mentions lots of people rig tubes wrong and sure enough I've experienced lots of long distance releases and balled up baits. It would be awesome to see advice from you how to properly rig a tube for flipping and pitching and hook recommendations. Thanks for all you do for the bass fishing community.

I live up in western Washington (Pacific Northwest) and I’m having the hardest time with any of my lures right now. The water is still cold but not frozen by any means. Any advise on what to use or a technique? I’ve done drop shots, worms and hopping a jig but can’t get anything.

I fish from a Kayak. I love to pull up on a dock where someone in a $80k Bass Boat just power fished. I throw a finesse bait and get bit almost immediately. Then, I scream FISH ON! Those guys in the boat get whiplash turning around to look. 😎

I should have done this yesterday. Got smoked in a tournament, and realized after I stayed in the wrong areas to long and also didn’t downsize or finesse enough to maximize bites . I was chasing larger fish and it didn’t pay.

Man, I have had several days out where what I thought was going to catch the fish was wrong. Ended up being a bait and presentation that was completely backwards from what I had in mind. But I have also learned from that and have taken it into account whenever I go out fishing. You are correct and thank you for your hard work

I would rather fish 5 hours and catch one 7 pound bass than catch 7 dinks, this is why I prefer glides and swimbaits. I’m looking for that one big bite. I also have no interest in tournament fishing.

If a spot looks fishy I’ll always spend a little extra time there . Search style baits are great but if that spot looks like it should hold a fish a Trig or wacky rig is getting flipped or skipped in there
