Hi Connie, good luck... usually it's timing with salt, don't put it on when the paint is too wet or too dry and ensure you don't use low salt as it doesn't work as well. :)

Thanks for this tutorial, really helpful and fun. I was thinking of Scottish Highlands when I painted so mine came out a bit more dull and brooding! I couldn't get enough opacity for the foreground so I painted some green and used a hard drybrush to create tussocky grass, then the dip into the water became like a track where all the sheep go to water.

I've resurrected my watercolour painting in the current lock down. It's been over 20 years since I did any painting and I love your channel and have been practising a lot!
