Simple Yet Full of Flavor? Hongyu Dumplings and Beer

Chili Oil
2 tablespoons of chili powder (mixed with a little crushed pepper)
1 tablespoon of sesame seeds
1 teaspoon of Sichuan peppercorns
1 star anise
80ml of oil
A pinch of black pepper
Hongyu Sauce
80ml of chili oil from (1)
40ml of soy sauce
10g of minced garlic
5g of Stevia (0.5 tablespoon)
15g of vinegar (2 tablespoons)
2 tablespoons of minced green onions
Garnish
Coriander
Green onions
Sesame oil
Steam the frozen dumplings in a pot.
Grind the Sichuan peppercorns.
Heat the oil in the microwave.
While heating, place the chili powder, sesame seeds, and star anise in a mortar, then add the heated oil.
Mix the chili oil with soy sauce, minced garlic, Stevia, vinegar, and green onions.
Using store-bought chili oil will make it much easier and cleaner in taste. The above recipe has great flavor!
