This is the kind of thing that Simple might feel dumb reading, so I just want to say that it really was a very stupid obstacle, which could've been much clearer. He's not dumb, he's a beautiful man. I do however think that the correct way to do that shell jump thing was to throw the shell onto the conveyor belt and then jump to the other side of the on/off blocks. The shell then hits the switch, because it was slowed down by the conveyors to give you enough time, and then you can walljump up easily. Now you might think that the conveyor would speed the shell up the other way, creating no net time gain, and yes, it probably would, which is just one aspect of the stupidness of the obstacle.

At 3:46, you said that you think if you go into the lava while "dead" as a dry bones, you think you die, and then at 3:59, that probably reinforced that thought, but you just got crazy luck that led to that. When you hit the lava while "dead", it actually just starts you floating immediately, and what happened at 3"59 wasn't you dying because you were "dead" when hitting the lava, but because the tick you hit the lava, it made you float, then the tick after that, you were in saws, the tick after that, you got damaged, and the tick after that you touched lava as small toad and died. So all these things happening a tick apart made it appear as if you died because you touched lava while "dead" but that was just really really unfortunate luck

With the last level, I think the idea at the beginning was to jump, throw the shell over the on/off switch, go down the ramp and jump to the other side of the blue blocks where the shell you threw before would hit the on/off so you can use them as a platform to wall-jump off of to get to the top of that next area. I think the way you did it was way better and that level not having indicators is definitely a pain to see. Anyway, grats on the clears! Love the commentary.

I believe the first obstacle of the last level you played is set up in a way that you're supposed to throw the shell, fling yourself at the wall, & the shell will hit the ON/OFF block right when you get there, allowing you to wall jump up.
