Looks great. If you had some spare fabric and Velcro you might think about making a curtain for the legs on your sink. Might give you a bit of hidden storage space. Looks great!!!!

My challenge for myself is to learn construction. I may never be an expert, but so far I have learned some basic construction, tiling, painting, refinishing stained exterior door, and hanging cabinets. I have a long way to go. This weeks project is filling nail holes, sanding and putting polyurethane on the natural wood door casings, painting doors. May take lots longer than I hope. Next is cut blind headers so they will fit into the window enclosure and figure out how to hang them. Never a dull moment.

The curtains are perfect for the room. I think it would be cute to put a skirt around the mop sink. You could store stuff under it too. You did an amazing job Robin!!!! ❤

Robin it looks so good! The dark walls really make the colorful shower curtains "pop" -- very cheerful! Now I have a strange question. Something that I really love about you and the "vibe" of your little space here on youtube is first your cheerful disposition, but also your energy. My mother in law and a few other women that I watch here on KZbin are in their mid-70s and talk a lot about how tired they are, how they have no energy and their homes are cluttered and in disarray. They say it's because of their age....but it appears you don't struggle with any of this at the same age. Any chance you could talk about this in a video? I'm only 44, but really looking forward to my years after retirement, staying active, maintaining some physical fitness, etc. Most of the examples of women I see in my own life and on youtube (except for you) scare me into thinking this isn't really possible. You have kept so much of your vitality. I would really love to learn more from you and what you think has helped you to keep your "mojo" into your 70s. Love you, Robin! Thank you for the wonderful example of what it looks like to live a full life on a modest income, in a beautiful, well-maintained home and an exceptional level of health and activity. I look up to you so much! ❤

I love our block home too! Keeps it cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter! Plus it’s better than having stucco which is common here in the Southwest!😬

You did a great job. It’s wonderful. I can relate. I did my kitchen cabinets at age 80. I feel your pain with the twists and turns. It took me longer because of my breaks. But it was finished and looked beautiful. I’m 83 now and my painting days may be over, but I love projects! Wonderful result. So different and really if I was going to paint your bathroom I would have been so happy if it ended up looking like that!!

The shower curtain is perky! The best thing I've bought for my bathroom is toilet seat handles. they attach to the toilet itself and can be lifted out of the way if need be. It's not a freestanding assist device which tend to be a trip hazard. Even those without disabilities say that they thought they were weird to begin with but they actually like them now. They were $80 so, wait for prime day or some other sale.
