@@carlasworld8571. Exactly! Don’t want siblings breeding and small bucks start early. I agree on saving the cut outs to help make doors with either for the winter or making them so you can put them up at night for added protection. I know David has no way of putting his up at night but wild animals can come along at any time you least suspect. They’ve got a good size space to get out in and a nice cover for night and when it rains. Really nice guys.
@bettybay21812 ай бұрын
You could also use the cut outs to make a covered porch so when the rain comes of the roof it won't make the entrance all sloppy and muddy. You could even use a piano hinge on it and close it during winter. legs with hinges could hold up the porch when open. Maybe.
@ronnydowdy74322 ай бұрын
1st thing I noticed when you put the goats in was they were looking at all of the green stuff on the outside of their pen lol. Y'all are going to have to give them something green off the hillside every day lol. They'll go crazy standing in the dirt and looking at all of the green.
@ronalds.bourgeois33652 ай бұрын
You could use the cut outs for doors. Possible hinge up an latch, so goes down and latches at bottom.

Yes, I agree with Richard on making doors. If you have big cats (Cougar, Mountain Lion) they can jump that electric fence. The goats look like they are settling in well. Talk Soon!
@lydiamitchell68142 ай бұрын
They’re so happy they might breed. 3 months is when they can breed. If they are related brother and sister, you need to move them apart. It’s best to not interbred and keep the blood line pure. When is Country Cure going to take the male goat? 🐐 😊 I’ve had goats for 15 years. I am sure there is a lot I don’t know. Just sharing some of the things I have learned.
@MelissaMalzahn2 ай бұрын
The doors really only need to be a large doggy door size. Maybe screw a rubber mat that will cover the door from wind and rain. To bad you could've have put them down into the woods more so they could eat a the branches and brush away. If they are siblings you need to get them separated soon so they dont breed. ❤❤ Great job as always. ❤

I was thinking 🤔 you guys was gonna put the fence up down through the woods to give the goats 🐐 something to graze and browse on . They jusy have bare dirt no undergrowth to eat. Hope in near future you're planning on extending your electric fence down in those Woods and do rotational grazing in warm weather and bring them back to the barn area in winter months.
