I LOVED this❣️ When a negative thought enters my mind now I just observe it, say ok I listened, it's just a "thought" now move on!! 😊 I am very "childlike" ALWAYS have been...I notice the little things in everyday life and nature and genuinely get enjoyment out of the simplest things... I loved your relation to the Ocean and it's waves...It reminds me of a word Steve Nobel uses alot in his meditations. "EQUINIMITY"~ I try now to be like a wave in the ocean, go with the flow, don't fight it, just flow....Thank you so very much for your videos, down to earth and easy to relate to!! Have a wonderdul day Todd. 💝💦💫🙏🫶

As a person who has always beat themselves down with negative thoughts, then felt the resulting pain of shame or embarrassment, I finally just gave up and admitted defeat. Okay, negative voice in my head, I now think. If you want to keep beating me down, then have at it. Just go for it, if that's what floats your boat. And you know what? After awhile that insane little f**ker in my head finally all but disappeared. When you no longer give it attention, or feel bad about what it is saying to you, you have won! True, the negative voice still pops up from time to time. But I just let it do its thing and don't react to it. Now it no longer has power over me. I am finally free.

Yes this is so true. Practice (of attention) makes perfect attention. When I started to meditate, I became perfectly capable of focusing on the present moment to move my attention away from ANY thought that I wanted to avoid entertaining.

Observing our negative thoughts and become friendly with it. This can help us know where it is comming from. This way we can manage it through awareness and realise it can be some insecurities that actually doesn't exist.

we have to accept circumstances. when we did this, we can find another way or a way to live with it. maybe love is all there is and it is the key. if we embrace whatever it is with love, negativity has no room. maybe i can love even my cancer for it wants to tell me i lived and i am living against my own nature. thank you ... 🙏

Because of past experiences in life, I rarely trust men, especially men trying to be spiritual. Usually it turns out to be their own ego trip as though we are supposed to be in awe of something they probably don’t even possess. That being said, I don’t know if I would trust you either, but your messages seem genuine and I find that refreshing.
@ToddPerelmuter2 жыл бұрын
Ha! I appreciate your candidness as well. You are correct to be skeptical. Please absolutely whatever you do, do not believe me or anything I say. Just hear what I have to say if you like, if it rings true to you, go for it. If it doesn't ring true, toss it out. I can only share my experience and what is true for me. Very glad to connect with you either way.

A lot of humans rely on "jesus"...however it is another escape to defy reality; i.e apply instead his teachings; & instead of inquiring ..about GOD or Jesus, ask UR own higher self: what would U do?

Do you find it easier living in space where nature surround’s you?
@ToddPerelmuter2 жыл бұрын
Hi Mark. That is a great question. It’s certainly very easy to feel at peace in nature. It is every animals’ natural home and humans are no different. It rejuvenates us and fills our hearts with beauty and minds with the wisdom of reflection. However, I also find that being in a city is an amazing opportunity to practice finding peace in the chaos. It provides a unique opportunity for spiritual growth and to learn how to live harmoniously with our fellow people. Everyone is different though. Some people have to live in cities but hate it. Some people would die just at thought of sleeping in a tent. When I was at beautiful monastery in the jungles of Thailand, a Buddhist monk told me a beautiful saying I’ll never forget. It’s a mantra that they repeat in their mind that they say when walking, “I have arrived, I am home.” We can say this anytime anywhere to remind ourselves that we are whole and that we can be at peace no matter where we are or what is happening.
