Great video. Been a Simplex + user for a few years, just upgraded to the Ultra a month ago and loving it!

It’s a great upgrade. I have been spending time with it to see what it will do. Thanks for watching

Thank you for making this vid. Moving from the simplex+ to the ultra and still learning about metal detector settings. I can’t wait to go out and really learn the machine like I did with the simplex.

Excellent tutorial/explanation! You should be sponsored by Nokta for this video. Still stacking clad to save up for my Simplex Ultra but by the time I get it I should be a pro from watching your videos!

Really like my Simplex + but honestly wish I had waited for the Legend or the Ultra. Maybe next time. Thanks for the information! God Bless!

I enjoy the simplex plus too. But the Ultra and Legend are better. It just shows that this company is making better detectors over time. Great for them and all of us too!! Thanks for watching

Thanks for the comparisson! I just wonder if you could go through all the settings in Ultra for one video? Like a guide for how to use it with all the modes and settings? It could really helped out, and many others

As a group, probably not gonna be able to make that happen. Jake mentioned he may try to get out that way to see y’all. I (Stephen) have a busy travel schedule for next year. Hopefully 2025 we will all be back there.

Simplex+, has done really great yes great for me but it is ageing. This machine was an easy transition from the Garrett AT Pro X3, I do use it the same as the Garrett Pro, with 0 discrimination @ nearly full power in park mode 2, and man it is a gold finding monster. In a nut shell, I have this year so far I found 2 Gold bracelets a 14KT Italy man size ID style 18.1 grams and a Childs 10k 6.0 g. 12 gold rings, 9 silver rings, $1.30 in silver dimes, four gold pendants, 6 silver ones 1 unbroken silver necklace shit ton of recovered coinage and tons of trash now in the dump yes this machine is easy to master its fast and deep seeking EASY to use.

You have gotten some great treasures! I have always enjoyed the plus.
@ringhunter100 Жыл бұрын
@@southernrelics Thanks man, I went out yesterday for a couple of hours did not find much because there are many hunters mostly beginners around these parts anyways went out and hammered my local easy(s) aka tot lots and grass, I found a small letter P pendant in 10k came in mid tone solid 19, so yea this machine rocks for the price that I paid also easy transition over from the Garrett AT Pro x3 as well plus similar sounds and numbers, N.M. uses better plastic`s for a lite strong build and the Simplex+ has many more features over the Garrett AT Pro, besides the weight.

So what are the most important differences my friend...i got the plus should upgrade to ultra...? What's your opinion????❤❤ Thanks 🙏 you
@southernrelics Жыл бұрын
Better stability is one of the first things I noticed. The precision of sensitivity is a great upgrade. Having the ability to adjust the recovery speed is probably the next best upgrade. The last one that I failed to mention in the video is they changed the frequency from 12 to 15, which I think is a better all around performance frequency for a machine

@lostintheminimarket6942 from what I’ve tested the Ultra is deeper. I’ll have more details on that after this weekend.

What is ground balance??...🤔
@southernrelics Жыл бұрын
Great question. There is mineralization in the soil. The ground balance feature allows you to balance the detector and coil with that particular soil that you were swinging the coil over. When doing so, it will enhance the metal objects in that dirt for the metal detector to pick them up without picking up mineralization. The mineralization bar at the bottom left next to the battery bar will help you indicate if the mineralization in the ground is changing while you are metal detecting. If it does change, you simply just re-ground balance in that area over that soil.

@southernrelics 😊 thank you for responding. My husband and I are new to this. We just got our first detector this past weekend so we're trying to navigate through all the different pieces of equipment there are, not to mention the terminology. 😳 There's so much to learn!! 🤯 The pin point is about the only button that I know right now. 🙄 Anyway, thank you and God bless you, too! 🙋🏻♀️🙌

Thanks for the comparison! Today I did my own comparison air test on my Xterra pro vs my White's 6000 Di Pro I did this because of some of the questionable test here on KZbin. I plan on doing some buried coin test as well in the future. My video quality is low and no editing but you can see just how good the X-terra pro does does. kzbin.info/www/bejne/fYeqYoOkra-pibMsi=7XbuuIH2UJec4JM7 Maybe you got a bad detector?

I have the Legend which I really love and the Manticore which I almost hate but about the only thing I like about Manticore is the PP stays on till it is pushed again it goes off. I also like Nokta since it will pair to $10 earbuds so I dont have to wear the big earphones and I can wear my shade hat .

I enjoy the companies innovating and making new products for sure. The Legend is a great unit. I’ve really enjoyed mine. I’ve found a lot of bucket listers with it.
