One of the things I hear most from midlife women is that they want to look fashionable without looking like they are trying too hard. With this in mind, we are starting a new series called, “Simplify My Style”. In Part II, we discuss how you can use textures to add depth and interest to outfits…without using PRINTS…in order to achieve classic, effortless style in spring outfits or summer outfits.
Around here, our goal is to create a classic and timeless wardrobe for women over 40, women over 50, women over 60, women over 70, AND women over 80…starting with what is already hanging in our closet. You can read more about how clean lines and simple silhouettes fit into that mission at:

The summer is extremely hot 🥵 with very high humidity. We experience temperatures daily between 38 - 50 degrees for about 6 months of the year. Sometimes it’s impossible to wear clothes. I often resort to wearing a sarong with a wet towel on my head to keep cool. The humidity can reach 98 percent. At the moment we can wear shorts and tanks comfortably. But, not for long !
