heres one to try! I also REALLY recommend Gena Maries videos to choose products. - Detangle - Rake curl cream - Brush to create clumps - Finger coil / Brush curl a few face framing pieces - Scrunch with gel - Shake roots - Diffuse Also, your comment was super old so this is probably too late 😅. Curly hair is so much fun! Last night I washed my hair, decided to put it in a hair towel first, then add my leave-in. Usually I put it on in the shower, then towel, then cream, then seal with gel and air dry. However, things happened and my hair was in towel WAY longer then intended. Figured, its gunna be a disaster. Nope! Applied leave-in, curl cream, Denman styled, gel sealed. Diffused slightly cuz it was late. Slept. Next morning scrunched with my hair oil. Voila! Gorgeous curls. Compliments all day long including two m😂n ( strangers). Lol. Guess I found my new routine! 😊

@@layla-rl2tt I do that too so I second her advice. I use a giant scrunchie and wrap it around the base of the ponytail, pulling one end of the scrunchie through the other. It'll stay because it's velvet and has traction. That way it doesn't pull on my hair as I take it out; I just unwrap my hair. I have very loose spirals that pull out easily.

That is not simple. I have 3c curls and my whole life I’ve tried product after product. I finally realized that if I just put oil (I mix castor jojoba and Argan) with a tiny smidge of conditioner and my curls are far better than any product I’ve EVER used. So grateful to have found such a truly simple routine. Natural dry is always best

this is my exact routine, i wish i saw this video when i first started reading about cgm because I kind of figured this out through trial and error. saw so many people brush forward with head upside down, the back of my head always looked so wack. and i saw people brush with gel in, that always caused bad curl definition and frizz. Some people also said to style with soaking wet hair but that was also not working, hair too weighed down.

@amaiaamaiaa You style with it soaking wet, styling it soaked will slick off any frizz and make sure product is on every strand, then you microplop, using a T-shirt or microfiber towels and slowly scrunch with the towel over your hand and get excess water off. You also need to comb your hair at a 90* angle so you aren’t directing your hair downward. This video she is adding styling cream to less wet hair, then you notice as she is styling and applying gel it is soaking wet, and she is brushing product through. She is adding water Follow @manesbymel here she is a curly hair specialist.

Here is the products I use on my curls!🎄🎄☃️💗🎧 1. Spray bottle! 2. Moose! 3. Dove shampoo and conditioner. Maui hair are , Cantu,and she’s moisture! 4. Gel! 5.curl cream! 6.leave in conditioner! 7. Diffuse sometimes or I air dry!💗💗 (Everyone always asks me how my hair is so nice in the morning so I but my hair in a pineapple! And use a silk pillow case or silk bonnet!) My guess if you live on the west coast ( or somewhere warm without humidity) or you would adopt program quick. 😂 born and raised in Ca. I used a liquid leave in and air dried outside. I moved to NC and I have to do these routines or my hair will frizz out so bad.

I love using pure argan oil, i let it sit, then wash it off in the shower, use my favorite shampoo and conditioner, comb through it, then use some oil, brush my hair away from the scalp, and then I shake my hair Does kind of sound complicated but is extremely easy and simple, im lazy when it comes to styling but shaking your hair does it all

Ok wait this whole time I thought we was supposed to brush from the bottom up… I haven’t seen anyone do a long hair curly hair routine yet 😢😢my hair is almost to my butt and I KNOW if I took care of it properly it would curl better like tonight I used tea tree oil on it and then washed it and wrapped it kinda like in a turban and I got ringlets in the front… didn’t even use product just the oil before hand sooooo I wonder if I would have luscious curls if I did this
