Thanks for the feedback Ray! I'm glad its helped you with the position, its such a misunderstood position and its my favorite. There was not much content on it so I was excited to release some! My next instructional will be everything leg drags! I've been working on structure and sequence of moves last week or two and hopefully can film in May!

Great video! Really broke down and improved upon both Lachlan's and Mendes' videos on the 'bolo. Thanks!

Hey Aaron, did you find berimbolos were effective when both of you are starting in butterfly at the start of a roll and you go for the dlr?

Christian Gin I think it works really well that situation, essentially a double guard pull.

Hey Aaron - I think you mentioned you used to bolo a lot at blue belt. Curious to know if you still use it at a lot at brown (and when you get to black)? and if not did you just grow out of it?

I did mention that. I still use it every week, probably every day. I’m more calculated with my approach these days. At blue I was obsessed. OBSESSED. But in all honesty I lost matches because I was stubborn with it and wouldn’t just accept the sweep or top position. These days passing is my favorite thing. It’s still a technique I use daily and will continue to do so until my body won’t allow it (hopefully never 😂)
