Thank you!! It's so hard to find anything that is masculine. I work at a warehouse where we accessorize cars, trucks, and fleet vehicles. One of the workers and installer became curious when I began to ask him for cardboard pieces that can become the outside to form a junk journal. I said I would make him one... but HOTDOG!! I could barely find anything that looks masculine. 😣😫 Those papers are sooo cool! I love this simple project and will use it. Once again, thank you, Posh Lady.❤❤❤

Oh, my goodness. If someone passes this by because it's masculine, they will miss the boat! Yes-- it's a gorgeous item for men, but just switch out the paper for a stunning and useful item for a woman or a child. This will easily tuck into a handbag to keep track of all kinds of things. Some people remember stuff in the shower-- I remember stuff while riding in the car or shopping. No more notes on the back of receipts! By the way, Sherry, my order of your multi-size tape rolls came today. Ordered them on Prime Day after checking your Amazon store for a really good price. Now I really wish I had also gotten the tape runners that were also at a great discount!

Personally as a woman I like it better than all the flowery stuff & havent ever really cared for pinks. Prefer the warms over pastels & the antique-ish clocks, globes etc over flowers, birds & butterflies. Growing up in the 80s as a little girl I always chose one of Barbies friends in the blue or purple outfit because she was always in pink or red, 2 of my least favorite colors. Love all of Sherrys crafts, but this is one I would actually keep as is & not want different papers for😶‍🌫️

I loved this project! The paper and gear embellishments are super. As you emphasized, this is definitely a masculine look, but the pad would still be a great size for a woman to stick in a purse or tote for notes on the go. Just change up the look if you’re not a gear-head.

I absolutely love those notebooks! I am crazy about that paper! The cover really seems like leather and the inside reminds me of worn flannel. (I love flannel!) Adding the gears on there was a really great idea. They are a perfect match for the cover paper.

I finished my first journal this morning. Yes, I cut through the back cover but not 100%. I didn't have chip board and the 2 layers of cardboard were too thin. I'm going to rummage around to find something sturdier for the remaining journals. Your instruction was perfect. I make monoprints and now have a new use for my papers. I really appreciate all you do and share.
