This is a world-class video. The scenery is beautiful, the boat is gorgeous, and the videography is fantastic. Why don't guys just admit it when they are jealous? Here's an idea: Instead of spending more $ on fast boats, helicopter rentals, designer sunglasses, and Big Macs, how about forking over for a decent video camera to replace the one this was shot with, which appears to be a 1985 VHS Camcorder? Hard to tell which pixel was the boat at times.

That boat is awesome. I have a good friend that is a outdrive specialist and been crew chief for several teams. He worked for years with fountain and built the engines for on of the world record v bottoms before he went to a cat team. I was lucky enough to get to ride and help him test run a few and this video is awesome ,but the feeling inside that canopy is unlike anything else! scary fun!!!

When any member of the pod takes it upon themselves to ride anything over the water at 200 mph earns my waterman wings. Land lubbers don't have a clue how something doing 200 mph screws up, these guy would be the first to witness what happens. Given them a little respect. I got a ride on the USS Scorpion which was playing in a part of the world we never were able to so deeply penetrate and know so little about. Watermen deserve respect.

Used to race boats like this in Canyon Lake here in Texas on my friends aluminum boat with a 250 strapped to the back (6 blade prop from Dan's). We'd smoke jet boats all day up to 90 knots as long as the water was smooth... But 90 knots and only 2 feet of boat on each side, you kinda wanna be careful in an aluminum boat.
