What’s totally mind blowing to me is that he’s singing this identically like the album with the other instruments behind him and he’s not wearing any type of in-ear monitor!!! I’m not sure about floor wedges so he can hear himself but DANG, to be that spot on without mix in his ears is the epitome of perfection!!!

Back in 1992 it was not common to use these in ear monitors. I think they used the good old monitors right on the floor in front of the singers.

@@romankorya That makes sense. I’ve watched some stuff from last year too and I think he still doesn’t use the in ear monitors. It’s impressive to say the least, but he just has that natural ability and floor monitors are enough. It seems ALL new artists use the in ears now.

@@rpmevo8 This is a big show, so no doubt the sound production was excellent. Also its not a terribly loud song or band. All that said, learning to sing live with low tech than we have nowadays was a skill that anyone that came up in the 70s/80s/90s had to learn...in addition to playing/singing.

I thought it was lighters too but it can't be. They'd get too hot after even 30 seconds, left alone a 4 minutes. I think they are sparklers. I also doubt every second person had a lighter and pulled it out for that long. Definitely sparklers handed out or something. Yeah, you can see the sparklers at the start of the song in the first few seconds.
