I just love it when Mick sings outside the Simply Red box here and there. It is so unexpected and so wonderful. Mick singing any of the Standards just tickles me and My Way is quite autobiographical for him as well. Bravo!

I am listening to this song (version) now (May 9, 2024). Elvis and Frank Sinatra sang it lovely and in their way, however, Mick’s version is my favourite because he can sing everything and turn it into something extraordinary and simply beautiful. 😊❤

Oh you’re not aware that it’s an original french song composed by Jacques Revaux and sung by Claude François named « Comme d’habitude » Later on, Paul Anka wrote the english version, and as I said earlier, I prefer the english version but nonetheless it’s a french song…

Excellent! From the way he sang this song, it feels as though Mick is apologising for past transgressions. While he may have enjoyed himself at the time; he has now learnt from his mistakes. AKA: "Don't do as I do, do as I say!" I say it to my own kids all the time. 😂 ❤️🙋‍♀️

He’s amazing he is definitely amazing from 1985 to now. I never knew that he could sing like that. He was good in his debut album. The song holding back to years still brings chills to me when I hear it he fantastic he’s changed he’s got older, but his voice is beautiful and always will be.

Wait a moment, you and I were both kids. I am probably older. You were on MTV and I watched from home, with 4 children. Most days in my life I cried. I'd look up those that which I was familiar. And now...have we gotten to this point? I haven't eat life up and spit it out yet, but it has me. So no Swan songs yet. It's beautiful. But, not yet. Better things are to come, I am sure, but now-will get worse before better. I am glad you found a path. I did not know how. And what roads I took, led to dead ends. That is My Way. I will continue my prayers and believe and I hope I truly have the love I think I have in myself. It is hard. Thanks for every day I could sit down and listen to a song. My mom died at 11, my dad at about a year and a half later, and alone, I was Holding Back The Years-when I was with others. Alone I couldn't. Be well. Take care-should you see this.

Absolutely love Micks voice, maybe its his age or the equipment but all he did here was show that Sinatra is 'the voice'. Look forward to seeing him in Sept '24 all the same.
