So Alex had a line on killing Madison anyway btw. Arcbounds move their counters around when they die, so when you swung in on Madison you could have moved the counters off of the real Arcbound onto the fake one in order to do its power in damage.

Just curious because I don't know much about the rules of combat damage and all that, but could Maddy have saved galta at 20:41 by using the bronze dragons ability to put enough 1/1 counters on him to tank the damage? I'm trying to learn more about how damage timing works out

No. The trigger from bronze dragon will go on the stack when damage is dealt. At that time the Ghalta has lethal damage, so the counters would have to have been added prior to the damage.

I was gravely disappointed when i saw mindskinner and started researching to brew it because i was wanting to jam it full of effects like questing beast and the adventure spell Stomp so that i could have my cake and eat it too by preventing the prevention of combat damage. Unfortunately there are zero of those effects that i could find that could slot into mono blue.

I love y'all but I wish there was more time spent politicking during games! like in this game, it was absolutely in Alex's interest to keep Bill alive; Bill might be able to help address the other boards (some sort of Cyclonic Rift style effect) and also he'd keep some of the pressure off of Alex. additionally, had Alex saved the Fling, he could have used it to take out one of Maddy's huge creatures (at the cost of his Arcbound but if you're going to die, it's worth the sacrifice). regardless, thanks for the entertainment! :)

The enchant rooms are gross some of them are incredible, I never thought split enchantment cards could be so gross. Hell I pulled a white one during the pre-release, the expensive side gives all my creatures convoke! Cheap side let's me untap all my creatures during opponents untap steps. And when I say expensive side, it was a 4 drop! That specific room is gross in a boros aggro😅
