Wonderful and oddly powerful. Unexpected really. When Richard did his pointing exercise I laughed out loud because when I've already "known" in a visceral way suddenly became so much more clear, deeper. Thank you both!

Thanks for providing Richard with an opportunity to share his pointing-out instructions for Headlessness. This approach goes a long way toward demystifying many of the practice instructions aspirants receive on the spiritual path.

This is such a beautiful interview. Thank you so much! I had the pleasure of meeting Richard in March at a one day workshop. He is very funny, gentle, direct, and has some sweet dance moves. It's wonderful that he was able to see his true nature at such a young age. This is certainly available to everyone, regardless of their life experiences. Just gotta be willing to look. I am so grateful for the Headless community. The Zoom meetings are wonderful, and I have met some dear friends. I attend the US Monday and Tuesday meetings. It's a very safe and supportive environment. They are very informal. Anyone can feel free to speak of their experiences. We do the experiments, and sometimes just sit in silence. I would love to meet people from SAA community in there. Thank you! 🥰

Wow! I’ve read the headless way a couple of years ago and got the pointing but listening to Richard directly is such a difference. It’s a totally different approach to see reality and in the same time there is no difference at all. Thank you both for this gorgeous interview 🙏❤️

Question: How do you know the "intimacy of non separation" is lost at about 15-18 months old? And how do you know we had it initially at birth? Maybe we never had it? Thank you. Paul

I did this headless way years ago. Everyone else is upside down, too! (Not usually mentioned) 🙃 Also, "drawing on the right side of the brain" is about seeing what is really there rather than our socially "fixed" view. Both books are about seeing a the truth. There is an app for this headless way.

To me the headless way is a great entry point into querying the visual field with an open aperture. “Is what I see where I think my face should be?” Somehow, you got a photo of me at my last job for your thumbnail lol.

The invariable mark of wisdom is to see the miraculous in the common. -Ralph Waldo Emerson I love the Headless Way. It’s one of the first pointers that helped me be aware of the nondual experience that we’re all continuously having. That and some of Angelo’s videos on investigating the nature of sound in direct experience started breaking down the assumed boundaries of separation. 48:22 guidance through several headless way experiments 50:53 guided meditation

What a great conversation by two wonderful people on this subject of who we really really are ❤ I came across The Headless Way through Richard’s conversation with Sam Harris on his Waking Up app and had my first real shift from doing the various experiments on the Headless Way website that are quite literally direct pointings to your true nature. I realised I had this very esoteric idea of what awakening or enlightenment looked like which was preventing me from being able to see what was so obvious. When I suddenly found myself looking directly into nothing at all by doing the experiments something clicked and ideas and thoughts were suddenly freed to simply be other experiences happening in the same boundless and unruffled space. Thanks 🙏 Angelo for your great content (and superb 👌 book) and for sharing such a beautiful interview 🥳

Thank you ! It exactly is like this for me in the last few days after an initial awakening, I cannot feel my head, myself, and my field of vision seems to get bigger and bigger, like I can see and feel in 360° radius like my "head space" is an IMAX cinema screen somehow. And today talking with people (I work in retail) was really amazing like I was sharing my "head space" or the absence of it with them and I feeled so close to them and their emotions. Really feels amazing,,,

Richard's answer to the question of whether Headlessness helped him with meditation is absolutely outstanding. His answer is between 26:50 and 28:02. I did Vipassana meditation for 15 years trying to find something, anything, that pointed toward my true nature. Buddhism gave me vague answers and lists upon lists of do's and don'ts, but I was always left wondering what the point was. Douglas Harding and Richard Lang have shown me, very directly, what the point is.
