I had a traumatic childhood also, orphaned, abandoned etc.. it served to shut me down. I couldn't move my body or speak my mind. Now after 13 yrs of meditation, forgiveness, and gratitude I bless and love every minute of this experience. I can move now and speak my truth. This conversation is generally for peeps who have experienced the liberation of no- self.

This conversation was absolutely beyond words. I related to so much of it but particularly the whole part about how you find out you're on the journey and have zero control over what's happening. The most powerful moment was the last little bit of total silence. I was all smiles in that moment.

I finished it one go!! Lovely conversation- first time I found Angelo mesmerized with the love but not the kind of love you would think. I loved to see that side of you. Power of now review was on point. I was always curious to know Suzanne awakening experience but like always I didn’t get to hear much but I know why certain teachers/guides don’t want you to expect to be same journey. She is a gem. So glad she got to spend time in India. Suzanne, Angelo and Sunny Sharma are my so far KZbin favorites on this subject. While everything is manifesting as we would wish, I am hoping one day we will have sunny Sharma here as well.

This is a beautiful conversation. I am in the thick of the abyss and at that point Suzanne mentioned where I wish I could go back but also knowing there is no turning back. “Choiceless immersion”. Terrifying and yet hopeful what’s on the “other side” is worth all of this pain. Not that there is a choice. Just have to keep doing the next thing. Peeling off the next layer. Had a little glimpse this morning of what I think is the shift but who knows. A sense of the veil. That suffering is just an illusion seen through a dirty pair of glasses I’ve been wearing my whole life. Sense that I can just take them off to see clearly and feel the spaciousness. A knowing…not a concept. But then it slipped away. Hardest part is the sense of aloneness and loss of feeling of connection with people, especially the shift in the relationship with my grown sons, but thankful for KZbin. Still days when i think I’m not going to survive but hearing others that have gone before me helps immensely. Trying to trust not going crazy and just keep going. Thank you for mentioning that no matter how scary it feels, there is nothing to fear. ❤

Thank you for this beautiful exchange! This came to me to share: God is too Intelligent to give the “person” any control. You are in a conceptual sandbox. Real creativity can’t penetrate your conceptual limitations based on the idea “you” as the body-mind made up identity has of itself. Once you wake up from that fabricated and illusory identity as the separate “entity” that the mind has created, you will see how extraordinarily limited your idea of existence and life ultimately was, and how incredibly free, peaceful, loving and unlimited you really are as all of existence itself. There is only you! One unconditioned, perfect, complete, boundless and ineffable consciousness…Bless you....only love....only one!

This discussion between you two deeply aware souls is the clearest transmission of "awakening" that I've yet encountered. The words you both choose are as eloquent and direct as language is capable of being, but perhaps more importantly, there is also a sort of direct energy transmission happening in the silence between and around those words that can be felt in the heart. When you were both silent near the end, you drew me in to join you in that placeless place contained within that timeless time. I've heard people talk about how the "emptiness" is not just emptiness, but that it has some quality of pure love about it. And although I intellectually believed that to be true, I never really directly experienced that until now. Wow! I can't thank you both enough for being your authentic selves and bringing so many of us into awakening with you. You are both Angels and my heart is overflowing with gratitude!

There was a period of silence at end after Suzanne said, "no one's in control," and then there was complete silence for a while. But I could see there was a lot of energy in the silence and I burst out laughing because I could feel so much happening, even though it looked like nothing was happening! Very fun to watch you both. The difference is there is no attempt to make anything happen, it was allowed to unfold by itself without effort.

This hit home; sadly, many of us grow up in dysfunctional homes. The trauma can last a lifetime if we don't recognize the damage done to us and work on ourselves. Most don't work on these issues from our childhood. Sadly, the disfunction then goes into the next generation and keeps repeating until someone breaks the damaging mindset.

loved this talk! i’ve talked to suzanne before. so much love. yes, i feel there’s just not so much to say anymore. i find myself just staring at people a lot. feels like in a soupy swirl of love. oh well…….. 🤷♀️❤️ nice being with y’all ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ and yes, Angelo! I was in the car for an hour with a friend of mine, and she was frustrated about some thing in life, and I’m just listening to the story, and I noticed I was sort of picking up irritation, and I did the same thing, I just sort of reached out and put my hand on her shoulder, and that was all I had to do really. Everybody just wants to feel safe you know , seen. and then, of course, paradoxically nobody is ever seen. Lol but boy. Oh boy love it’s just everywhere! I was just looking at my hair in the mirror earlier today, and I started crying because I sort of tear up even just texting this, the fact that the innocence of everything, every grain of sand, every piece of hair on your head, every piece of dust is just love corporealised. That is stunning. ok i’m gonna cry again 😩🤷♀️❤️❤️❤️

I’m lying here in bed, in the early morning hours listening to this. I’m at a yoga therapy retreat on my fourth day. What you’re saying is making me realize what has happened to my leg. It has become weak and doesn’t feel the pain and doesn’t have the strength to move the way it used to. I’ve had episodes of MS that have effected my vision that has been documented by MRI. But this change and weakness in my leg has not been noted on any MRI. I’m crying listening to you, just crying. It’s as if my body knows that what you’re saying is the answer. All the emotions I’ve stuffed into that right leg. It’s been weighted down and it no longer feels the pain , pleasure of using it physically. It’s contracted and is physically withering away. I’m crying both from realizing this is my answer, but I’m also feeling a deep sadness that I’m responsible at least in part for this happening. I’m not sobbing , but tears are streaming. I know now without a doubt that this is what I’ve been searching for. And I know now what I must do.

'Ultimately what this comes down to is living out of the innermost promptings of your tender and loving heart. But without insight, you'll think you're operating out of the innermost promptings of your inner heart, and you'll be operating out of the innermost promptings of your deluded ego.' This is gold!! I came to a stage a couple of years ago where I couldn't guarantee I could pinpoint where my desires actually came from, and the realization that what I want above all else IS to be congruent to this tender and loving heart, which might mean letting go of the things I think I want if they're not aligned. Still not sure how to get there but that sentence really put into words what I fell is the most important thing. Thank you so much, looking forward to the online retreat starting this week, joining from France :)

OH THANK GOD!! TYTYTy. From 19:40 about how the mind is so mean to itself. I’ve felt like a freak with the best mask interface with the world. Sooo much darkness I’ve allowed into my Heart without even knowing it was doing it. Full on Self Destruct Mode even with a SO MUCH LOVE in my life. My children, partner, steady job and a roof. I’m try-trying to have patience and just by knowing it’s not just me gives me strength and bravery to Re-Crack my Heart Wide open to all of it. So far, it’s been a gentle tug by the hand into the darkness but I know in order to crack open, something has to break. We will all find this courage because there is no choice. Less resistance = less pain.. idk about that but it felt right to me in this moment. Sending All the Love to all of us answering the call.

It's so interesting...I can actively witness my process. I know I'm unraveling, moving towards something other than what I've been in majority of this experience. I know I also actively chose to go into each sensation, action, thought as it comes up to sort of consciously/openly witness it. Kinda like savor each moment to the greatest capacity I can as I unravel into whatever state I'll be in, in another "future" moment. Like eating foods I haven't eaten in ages to TRULY experience it and enjoy it or be in disgust of it and see what that feels like and the thoughts that arise. Just witness whatever comes up with it. Then I watch the interest fall away as something else presents to be witnessed. I also recognize a fear that comes up that I'll totally lose interest in everything. I know it's something we all go through. I recognized at one point the speed at which I was going and I slowed down, realizing I didn't feel ready to totally dissolve but knowing I truly want to. It's all so interesting to watch. I appreciate convos like these along the way 😌😌

all of us empaths are usually conditioned by a more-or-less narcissistic parent, no? Typically we are conditioned from a very early age to put that parent's needs above our own, and we carry that forward throughout life and become people-pleasers, always putting others' needs above our own, since we have been conditioned to believe that our needs are not important. We are constantly seeking external validation since we've been taught that we don't have much innate value. And this goes on in our life, until we have some kind of very traumatic event / Hero's Journey-type occurrence which causes a breakthrough and Awakening. And we begin to shift our ingrained fear (of our parent getting angry 'coz we haven't pleased them) towards love, for ourselves above all and until we learn to establish healthy boundaries. And then on from there to true universal, non-judgmental love (including of course for our narcissistic parent - v. important). And then on and on...to complete non-duality basically. That's where it all ends and begins, as we know. That's certainly been my experience...interested to know if each of you see parts of your own path in this narrative? This whole journey is un-learning back to the source...crazy!
