Fun fact: The BAe 146 (or Avro RJ) was the last aircraft type built and flown out of the De Havilland factory in Hatfield, England in 1983

i like this regional airliner. Before called avro rj100, it called Bae (British Aerospace) 146. It's perfect for regional short-haul flight. It's unique design use 4 engines on a regional airliner rather than 2.

I love these Jumbolinos.I used to fly with Aegean's Avros .They were comfortable and you were feelling safer with these 4 engines.Great report

Great video! I flew on the BAE-146 Swiss when I was 6 from ZHR-MUN. Wish Swiss would keep them. It's what made them unique to me. Still a great aircraft!

What a beautiful looking aircraft. I remember seeing my first one on the apron at Gatwick back in 1985. It was with DAN AIR. Its was called an HS 146 in those days. Great video.

Flown on all 3 types! This airplane will always have a special place in my heart. An absolutely beautiful airplane. I also had the honor to work for a startup airline named Tristar. We flew out of the US with 5 BAE 146's in the mid 90's. Fun fact!! We were the only airline that flew to the Grand Canyon with 100 seats. I really enjoyed the sound of the flaps coming down too.

You should try to go to the Seattle-Tacoma Intl airport in Seattle, WA. It's very cool! And, I recommend flying Southwest Airlines. Service with them has always been great with me!

Ich bin froh dass die Swiss diese krüppel ausmustert :D Ich fliege seit 30 Jahren jedes Jahr und immer mit diesen Schüttelbecher namens Avro muss ich 2h lang meine Frau beruhigen. Echt mühsam. Mit der A321 oder dem 737 von Alitalia haben wir selten so ein geschüttel wie mit dem RJ-100.
