I did the exact same flight at the end of last July with my 11 year old daughter. The second to last leg of an around the world business class trip over 5 weeks. I can say this was an amazing experience for us both, particularly myself. The lounge with the terrace overlooking the aircraft was incredible and as you pointed out, very well equipped. We had bulkhead seats in the small business cabin and the flight was faultless. Seeing your video only makes me want to do it again. Loved it. Thank you for sharing.

My Dad was a Canadian Navy pilot. My first experiences on planes were with him sitting next to me. So I learned as a wee snapper that turbulence was just wind. Puffy wind. The kind that moves clouds. It was irritating, because it made drinks spill all over your Dad's nice uniform with the shiny buttons and fancy trim. But it wasn't scary. You just sat there and let the wind blow itself out. Read your book, play with a toy. No worries. Lunch would come when the pretty stewardesses were able to walk down the aisle without falling over.

I remember flying the SR MD’s in their reclining business class seats 20 years ago... returning to home to the announcement that they were bust. That was a sad moment as they had a good product both in the air and on the ground. Zurich airport used to only have terminals A, B, and C which was brand new back then. I flew through here again a few years so and you can definitely see the LH influence in Swiss. All of the LH group though is very similar to each other. I’m now also looking forward to them installing premium economy. LH and OS are by far my favourites in premium out of all carriers I’ve been on.

Had flown several times through Zurich with Swiss. Love the casual but meticulous design the lounge offers. Had actually took a shower there, after a long tedious day- it's located opposite to the front desk; very comfortable! The lounge have an amazing, relaxing view of the hills surrounding the airport. If you're there- You should definitely go out to the terrace! They actually provide you with binoculars to view the airplanes! Inside the cabin I also had a chance to use the "Throne" seat- Vey comfortable.food is great! Definitely one of my favorite airlines!

I flew the 777 in 2018 from Zurich to Miami, also on a throne seat. But I was able to snag 4A, same seat as yours on this flight but so much more private in the mini cabin. Service was awesome and I really enjoyed the flight. Was supposed to be on the flight from Zurich to Singapore a few month later with my girlfriend but we missed it due to bad weather and a delayed connection. Swiss ground service was kind of struggling with the amount of stranded passengers that night but after a bit of back and forth they took care of us in an almost perfect way (but only because we've been in business class). They rebooked us on the next available flight wich was Singapore Airlines with their A380. That surely was an upgrade seat wise and also the service was awesome, but I would've been equally happy on the Swiss flight.

Now I’m only afraid of screaming babies (poor things). The focus issue on take off is caused by your auto focus honing in on the rain drops on the window. Regarding your query about fave IFE shows, I like the air route show, any movie I haven't watched in a movie theater, like "Aquaman," "Wonder Woman" (the first one, not the sequel), "Shazam, " "Man of Steel," etc., and will listen to classical music such as operas or concerts. For example, returning to the US in '10 aboard Air France, I watched and listened to "Carmen," because a dining room aboard a cruise ship I was recently had a cruise had named it after that Bizet opera, and the decor of that venue include a matador's costume. I also might tune in to TV shows whose episodes I don't bother to watch regularly, such as "The Big Bang Theory," "Station 9-9," "Grey's Anatomy", "King of Queens", etc. Before you or other posters ask, I'll answer some of the questions you occasionally pose in your videos: 1. Have I ever flown Lufthansa? Answer: Yes. 3x as follows: 2000, between FRA and FCO; in '12 between LHR to MUC, and in '19 between FRA and IAD. 2. Do I read the inflight magazines? Answer, Yes, I do read them, especially to see what movies were playing on the flight, the route map, the drinks served on the flight, some of the articles, and to get an idea about the time zones to set my watch to. That's the primary benefit of the flight show: to show me the time at the destination so that I can set my watch to it. 3. Do I watch other videos on the IFE? Yes, I will watch the arrivals video, especially if the subject is making connections at LHR. 4. How do pax handle arrivals in London otherwise, especially if we stay in the UK? Answer: if FAs distribute the Landing Cards for completion and preferring to the Passport Control staff, at Terminal 5 before entering the baggage claim area, Customs, and to the Arrivals Hall to wait for transport to my London hotel. After a few years of connecting at LHR, I now consider myself a veteran of LHR connections and have no further need to watch those videos. You probably haven't asked the following questions, so I'll do you a favor by asking them and giving you my answers: 1. Do I read the airline merch catalog? Answer: Yes, to see what stuff the airline is peddling for this flight, and to see if there are inexpensive items I might like to buy, such as pens or chocolate bars. That way, the FAs can get credit for a pax buying something(s) from the catalog. 2. Have I ever contributed any $ to the onboard charity the FAs will mention during their PSAs. Answer: Yes, I've contributed $ to their charities, especially if the timeframe is charity season, e.g, late summer or fall. If I can get a pleased grin from the FAs for being willing to contribute some of my $ to their charity, then this occasion is worth the effort. 3. Have I ever thought of applying to the airline credit card offers distributed by the FAs? Answer: No, because I have a fave credit card whose APR rate is much lower than the airline's APR rate, the feel is too high, and the accumulation and redemption of points or miles is too hard for me to handle. While my refusal to complete those credit card applications may earn me a frown, I'll try to give them a nice grin anyway on departure and thank them for their great service, especially if the captain has given the pax a birds-eye view of London, Paris, Barcelona, etc. Yep, that earns me a nice grin from the FAs.

It’s not the same level as Swissair. The new seat on the 777 is a bit narrow. Space for the feet is tiny. In Economy the seating is not different from a low cost carrier though I didn’t fly on that class with them and I have no intention to do so. ZRH to SIN? Give me SQ any day!
