Thank you for this video. My husband and I are starting a candle business (waiting on our supplies or get here); and we are hoping to launch by the end of April.

I started in September, and testing wicks to get a good product takes longer than you would think. I'm launching in April or May myself. I gave away a ton of candles while I was still figuring out the correct percentages of wax and fragrance oils, temps, containers, etc. My advice is to get only one size and type of container to start with. I bought too many different things then got overwhelmed with how each vessel needs a different wick, and how to get the perfect hot throw and burn. Wicking is the devil! I thought I'd be ready to launch in a month or two. Not so .. Testing is absolutely necessary and more time consuming than you realize. Good luck with your business- it's honestly a lot of fun, even during testing!

Just to say I’ve had a dymo label printer for several years, great for shipping labels, but not for goods as the printer is thermal and the words disappear after a while, and especially when the weather is warm . I learned this the hard way and had to re label my goods .thanks for you tips x

I don't use lids on my candles, but I shrinkwrap them. I use fragrance labels on the shrink-wrap. Since the shrink-wrap comes off before the candle gets lit, it's ok to use a cheap thermal printer. Sadness so much money

Hey doll, quick question...I know you mentioned having several pitchers for different fragrances while working on multiple candles (thanku for this!) ... my question is, how do u wash/rinse the scent(s) out of the pitcher/pourer so you don't unintentionally mix scents?! It seems like I can still smell the previous scent after washing

Thank you so much for this video!! Can you recommend which brand of labels stick the best on the cement candles please?
@laciej Жыл бұрын
I use Avery labels and I honestly prefer the white film ones. Those ones are removable and makes life so much easier!

Do you have any recipes that you use frequently I am having an issue with finding a good recipe for how many candles I need and I have different sized jars and always end up needing more wax or left over wax 🤦🏽♀️
