@Piotr Nowak really? I've used it in chats and on my phone and everyone says I sound extremely clear. I use Bose sound sports and they didn't notice any difference which can happen with a bad mic. Not sure where you get that from

My favorite feature of this that I didn't expect was the auto mute on the mic. Been using these with my phone on bluetooth and it really does a good job muting you outside of you responding, you can go to the bathroom, run water, eat, watch tv, and none of that was transmitting back through my mic until I started talking. That's super convenient and works way better than I thought it would

I will be on the phone talking to a friend, listening to KZbin videos on the phone, and having the game on and it does a great job of separating all those to allow you to do them at once

I absolutely love the ever living heck out of these headphones. I bought the Dolby for Headphones license. These things puts me IN THE GAME. I was playing CrossOut and I heard some water dripping. I had to pull my headphones off and I about ran to my bathroom to see if I left the faucet dripping. No bull, these things are worth every single penny, and blow the competition out of the entire ocean. The ONE SINGLE THING I will gripe about is the "connect button". Upon removing or donning these, I accidentally press it and turn my headset off so many times. Other than that? 10/10/10/10/10/10/10/10/10/10/10/10

Both simultaneously. It sounds pretty good you can adjust the volume of the secondary device on that device without effecting the game volume so if I’m listening to music on my phone I turn it down there rather than with the headset

If you use a microphone a lot, yes. The microphone is much better than the arctis 3. The xbox headphones last 15 hours on the battery and are wireless. I buy xbox headphones 👍

It massively depends on the setup you choose, using the Dolby app and calibrating the headset itself on the Xbox application that comes with the headset and honestly is a pretty amazing headset for the price range

Do you know if the ear pads are replaceable at all? I don't want pleather ear pads because they sweat and split and flake away over time. I've asked Microsoft "experts" and they don't have any info because the device is new. The specs say they're 40mm cups. Could they be swapped out for other 40mm ear pads on Amazon?

Honestly like everyone is saying. The mic is good enough. Your not going to be the one listening to yourself so its not even a huge deal in the first place unless your streaming but even then most streamers use a serperate mic from the headset. Ive played with thousands of xbox players. Aslong as your not blasting a fan/wind noise or echoing, your mic sound is great. Trust me Ive played with alot of players with much worse mics.

I have the headset, and I can happily say it does not sound tinny at all. The audio test doesn’t do the actual headset bass justice tho. Good balance on the EQ between bass and treble.

Honestly the fake leather is an instant deal-breaker for me. Had a HyperX Cloud Stinger years ago and the pleather started flaking after maybe a year and I've avoided earcups made of that ever since.
