I am amazed at how the Cuban audience is so respectful. There is no yelling and screaming whistling people up dancing around. Although they did make most of this concert just him singing acapella with a minimum of musical accompaniment. So different from say. which I just watched.. Live at Trafford.... which i just watched. Watched so much of this for so long I can sing most of it by heart. What an awesome band. OK I can see at the end after they crank the music up then people in the audience start dancing...... how could you not??

As a singer and performer, this is a masterclass in every aspect of singing, stage performance, arrangement, sound and video production. I´ve always admired him, but was expecting the usual deterioration of the voice that usually comes with aging. His mastery of his instrument has actually improved. Und hier: Was für ein schönes Theater, was für ein tolles Orchester mit all' den schönen Menschen, und das Ballett natürlich nicht zu vergessen. was für ein zugeneigtes Publikum, die, fast schon Evergreens, unvergeßlichen überaus melodischen Songs von Mick. Am Ende war es dann soweit "If you don't know me by now" und meine Tränen rannen. Ich wäre so gerne dabei gewesen. Tausend Dank an Euch alle aus Berlin!

I echo everything you say. Would you believe me if I told you I sat at 12 pm tonight and started humming a song with 2 words and a few notes I remembered. It bugged me so much that I couldnt remember the artist or more words to search on you tube. I went to something that felt similar and knew it wasnt right. Next thing this was suggested. I was totally amazed that this was exactly what I hummed. Unbelievably exquisite performance. I cant believe his voice is so amazing...the jazz feel the romantic tension..smooth ..i can carry on. I was on the edge of death August 31st 2019...I made it and here I am a year later about to celebrate another year of life happier and healthier than ever...My Birthday is September 28th, this couldn't have come at a better time! I saw Simply Red in Houston Texas in the 80's a young girl of only 13..both my twin and I were the only one's who got up from our seats in the theatre walked closer to the front of the stage and danced the remainder of the concert... This was the first concert and only concert I've ever been to...never had the desire to see anyone else! If he/they decided to come back to America I'd be the first to buy a ticket!! My twin died when we were 18 but how sweet that memory would be rekindled!!! Mick's voice has never faultered...timeless...flawless...soulful ...and humble! Simply beautiful!!! Thank you Mick ❤ So glad you've found happiness in your marriage and have been blessed with a beautiful daughter!

Supremely skilled musical director, gorgeous arrangements, phenomenal musicians and one of the sweetest string sections I've ever heard, all giving Mick a luscious sublime and melodic platform for him to shine with that wonderful voice. What a tremendous talent, able to relay songs in such a soulful way, every song sung to perfection. If it sounded this fabulous coming through my hifi, then it must have been truly spectacular being in the audience with the amazing acoustics of that glorious theatre. The audience certainly got their moneys' worth!
