To be honest I'm not a big Simply Red fan - I just haven't listened to all that much stuff and never owned an album - but like most of us who were around in the 80s/90s in the UK it's part of the scenery. For whatever reason I had this song in my head today and so I've gone on youtube to listen to it.. and I came across this. Wow! I might have passed up the next time I could have seen Mick Hucknall performing because he's been off the radar for so long - but having heard this, I'm surprised in the good way - he was always an incredible singer and it sounds like he's one of the few who hasn't lost the magic stuff over these past decades.
