A favorite perfume KZbinr of mine busted herself out mid video regarding this drop. She said she wasn't on PR and bought her own perfumes but then said "next time Mona, send me 100mls plz" 😳 I was like oop?!

I decided to pass on these as well. If imma spend $200 I’d rather buy a niche fragrance that actually lasts. I don’t want to have to overspray or layer if I’m spending that much 😅 I was feeling a FOMO.. but there are other fragrances on my list (designer and niche) that are better! So happy you reviewed. Most everyone else has gotten it in PR so I take those reviewers with a grain of salt. I am trying to save money so you helped me decide to pass on it. If it comes in store at Sephora I will go sniff it but I am not risking a blind buy- would rather save my coin

They’re both amazing! I don’t usually go for unisex fragrances but I’ve been reaching for the velvet a lot more. It layers so well with others for night or day. You can also layer it with sweeter fragrances like the silk santal to make it more feminine.

I layered Silk Santal with Vanilla 28 to make it last longer. It definitely disappears quickly but I love it.

I haven’t smelled velvet santal and based on your review I don’t have a desire to smell because I’m not one to wear anything masculine. I have silk santal and I like u said silk is very soft and feminine and that’s my vibe. I love silk santal and I wear and I over spray it. Your review in my opinion is spot on!!😘😘thanks for sharing

It’s not masculine, nobody I’ve talked to has said that. I think it’s unisex leaning feminine. It has a lot of sweetness!

Hi sis hi I got samples and tried them both but I like the velvet one more and I think I’m the cooler weather it’s going to smell amazing I will be getting a big bottle . I tried the two mixed DIDNT smell good on my skin at all. The silk one is very light it can be a everyday scent

Thanks for the review. These sound decent but are definitely not a need for me lol. It’s funny to me with Kayali, there have been a couple that I just “had” to have. But the last couple releases were just meh to me. I do like how you presented that a wedding scent is personal which I totally agree with. Thanks for the video and have a wonderful night. 😊

I love them both. I don't have a pacific fragrance type except overly masculine fragrances. I just like to smell good. I think velvet santal is right down the middle unisex and silk santal is more pretty and feminine. I'm excited to have both in a full bottle. Also velvet santal smells a lot like Mon Guerlain to my nose

I really want to try the Silk & Velvet new Kayali perfumes ! I love Sandalwood but not a huge fan of Tobacco/masculine fragrances 😭🤔 Great review friend ! I enjoyed the video as always 🤩

I feel this was a more balanced review than others I've seen. I know for sure that velvet is not for me even though I was leaning towards it before (others made it seem more unisex). I feel you on the FOMO! I want to try them, but am really trying to not blind buy anymore.

The numbers on the bottles isnt how many times it took to get it right, it’s the version they pick. So example: kayali eden apple is 1. They didn’t necessarily try one time and say cool, done. They picked the first version though. With this collection, she really wanted to pick their ages for the sentimental value to them.

How weird, everyone I’ve talked to says that Velvet Santal is unisex leaning feminine. Only one person said otherwise. I agree that it’s more feminine. I got a lot of sweetness from it that I would not enjoy on a man.
