Linda was the first female to sell out stadium concerts. She successfully mastered Rock, Pop, Country, Jazz, Afro-Cuban, Orchestra / American Standards, Light Opera, Children's Lullaby and Mariachi / Ranchera. Probably the most respected professional vocalist in the music industry. Never auto tuned - just pure crystal. Well worth your time to experience this amazing woman's vocal abilities as she bravely ventures into different genres. She's beautiful, too!

You just introduced yourselves to the 70's queen of rock. She is all by herself up there on the stage. Just her and a piano player. No fireworks, no backup band, no dancers, no auto tune. Just pure talent. And what a set of pipes. That's how you sell over a hundred million albums.

It's so rewarding to an old boomer like me to see young people today enjoying the music and magnificent musicians of that era. And I so appreciate that you allowed the song to be sung by this almost magical and beautiful voice without interruption. Shows you appreciate the music and the art more than the sound of your own voice. I like that in a man.

Love Linda Ronstadt, her songs were a constant for me in the 70's. I loved her rock music but she branched out later in life into other genres. She can sing anything beautifully.

The lovely Linda no one can touch her, she was one of the top female artists of the 70's and 80's, she did this live, no auto tune artists don't perform like this anymore. She was a pure musical genius who explored multiple musical genres and was a smashing success in all of them!

Linda started in a band "The Stone Pony" in the 60's. Later in her solo career she had two of the Eagles band members as her back-up band (Glen Fry and Don Henley). She sand their song Desperado to help them get more recognition at their request. She had two Grammy Win Country Album with Dolly Parton & Emmy Lou Harris. Two Grammy Win Spanish Albums "Canciones De Me Padre and Mas Canciones. She has so much depth, I highly recommend that you to check our her Academy Award Biography Documentary "The Sound of My Voice". All told by her in her own words.

@@wilburfinnigan2142Linda and Karen Carpenter, Lucy comes third. Many of their performances were live as opposed to studio recordings off now. My all time favourite had to be Karen Carpenter.

Song was written by Don Henley and was the second Eagles album of the same name. The song is about the Dalton gang a gang of bank and train robbers. It I would guess specifically Grat Dalton, the only survivor of their fatal bank robbery in Coffeeville Ks. Yes Linda has Mexican roots. She could and did sing everything from rock to opera. Dolly Parton said most singers sing what they can. Linda sings anything she wants.

This song is on the album of the same name and the theme of this album is basically about the old west. I think this song is a perspective of the loneliness of the cowboy and riding the range. This is just like watching the life of this cowboy and what it feels like. Her family is of Mexican descent with a German male ancestor.

The first release from the Eagles was vastly different from when they re-released it I believe you can hear the original from their 1971 concert. Linda asked if she could record the song and her version is the style the Eagles used when they re-released it and the rest is history.

Pretty sure it was an album cut and not a single until Linda got it. So even though it is their song she made it a hit for the Eagles too.

She has some of the cleanest, purest vocals I've ever heard, simply beautiful. I believe she is from Tucson Arizona. Here's another suggestion for another one of her songs, if interested. This time she's singing a duet "Linda Ronstadt & Aaron Neville - Don't Know Much Live 1990" get ready to hear some amazing vocals 🤯🎶This was a fun reaction thanks for sharing.

You have just heard the most beautiful voice on the planet. This was originally an Eagles song until Linda covered it and took it to a new level. She has a forty year catalogue spanning multiple genres. And yes, she did three albums of Mariachi music all in Spanish to honor her Mexican roots but most of her work is done in English. She could sing anything and make it her own. Please explore her music further. You will not be disappointed. Love your reaction. Good luck with your channel. 🌺✌️

@@wilburfinnigan2142 I was unfamiliar with the artist you mentioned so I looked her up and listened to some of her music. She does have a nice voice although a bit too nasal for my liking. In my opinion she doesn’t even come close to Linda. But that’s ok. You enjoy her voice and that’s really all that matters. Peace brother 🌺✌️
