This is the second time special editions have died, they'll come back. Just like how Duelist Packs died and then came back (in the form of legendary duelists).

I’ve been catching up on your videos, and today you made me go and buy a single sealed blister pack of MAGIC Ruler on EBay. I remember I used to get blister packs from my parents when I was very young (9 years old) and I no longer have both parents. It brought back too many memories and I had to get one to preserve them. A guess is that they're not as profitable as other products for Konami Also, there's no prismatic/starlight rares so people are usually less interested

Honestly though, when was the last time they put decent promos? IIRC, it was mostly about the shonen jump promos the last 3 years. One good promo I remember was Solemn Strike but that was like 3 years ago.Maybe between then and now there were good-decent promos. But back then the promos were crazy like Maxx C, Tour Guide, etc. We never even got infinite impermanence or any of the borrel- dragon cards. I can see that being a bigger reason than the cards being unlimited or no prismatic rares (as these are fairly new here).

All good things do eventually come to an end but don't fret. Many players and collectors of yu-gi-oh either bought them and opened, bought to collect, or bought and re-sold. Just remember all the great times you all had opening up them special editions! I remember opening one back in the days, was such a hype feeling! HAVE A GREAT DAY EVERYONE!

Special editions had its pros and its cons , it gave people a better chance of pulling the shorter printed Cards in the sets which is a PRO & of course a huge con is it devalues cards in the market .. sadly I’m going to miss those special edition boxes, always had a unique style on the boxes . BUT NOW ITS TIME FOR SOMETHING NEW !!!

A Mega Pack booster set would be great. Get 24 packs, 16 cards per pack. Get Ultimate Rares, Ghosts, and StarLight rares in each box. Including all the other rarity’s

TBH.. never was too much of them Special Editions. They just scream "milking" and might just aswell be released in another pack. Another DRLG would be neat. The first was especially amazing, and Amelda and Varons cards are still missing.
