Great video Tom great to see that track. Don’t feel bad my 701 did not even make it to the Simpson. It blew up on the shakedown trip 😅and is had to bring my 90000 ks bike it replaced out of retirement to do the trip.

I had my wr250r for less then a year before I moved up to the 701. Never looked back. Rode to the Arctic 2 times, no issues.

This is a far more interesting video than I thought it would be. I ride throughout the winter here in the Pacific Northwest and I keep the air flow through my lid to a minimum. I might just work on this.

my 09 690 radiator was also a POS. seems ktm havent changed anything. They need a full guard around them. very thin metal. No one carries metal putty? fixes all our leaks in a pinch.

I’ve used pepper surprisingly successfully repairing a radiator in a Toyota coaster. Always thought it was a myth but I can confirm, it not only works, but works well ✅

Yes, it's amazing stuff. I patched a pinhole in wife's crf250l radiator a couple of years ago and its still holding up perfectly.

Had to wait for your footage to catch up closer to Nerb though, so I didn’t keep getting everything mixed up in my head about who’s where and what’s happening.
