Love this! Those craft ladies have put all hearts in each single piece of fined hair brush.

I've bought a few Simpson Brushes now, I like the fact they're hand made, high quality and made in a proper country by people like me, not in yet another cheap labor country like India, Bangladesh, China, Vietnam etc, etc, etc. I applaude the company, both Management and Workers for keeping this traditionally made product in the UK, these are important products and the jobs are important as well, more important than we realise, I'd encourage everyone to purchase a brush or two, the Simpson Shaving Creams are first class as well....🙂Robert Wilson (Australia).

Well.. sorry to inform you but it's now been a while since Simpson has moved their production elsewhere for cheaper labour. You may or may not have the original UK made one. The quality went quite downhill thanks to this.

I’m just getting into “sophisticated shaving”, and a bit late to this party; enjoy watching the process. I can almost imagine a sign by the time clock “If you’re not wearing a bandaid, you’re not working fast enuf. 😊

I think you should change the old weighing machine to digital one and cost will be less than 20$.
@CT250710 жыл бұрын
plus the cost of electricity or batteries! now think about how much the saved since 1919!
@bazlur10 жыл бұрын
***** That's true, but this is 2014. I use a digital one for 20$ for 4 years and did not change yet batteries and almost everyday use for measuring my shipping packages. Digital one in metric system give you very precise weight, which is good for this brushes. Myself a professional now shaving brush maker and I found all the brush knots are not same diameter as described. I was watching this video to know what kind of glues they use for making the knot. they don't give you the secret, but I am sure that with proper glues I can make nice brush head too.

Those poor little badgers running around without any hair. Someone told me that the badger farm is right next to the boneless chicken farm. So sad.

The best Shave Brush on the market today is my Simpson Trafalgar's T-3 better then boar cheaper in the long run it is 29mm. i mic it' it's like buying a $275 badger hair brush, no cleaning the brush, no need for a brush stand, fast drying time, well not fall apart like a badger hair or boar can, cheap to buy, I have owned it for 5 years with no hair loss with no problems wheelchair Larry Merry Christmas
