Okay but the fact that the lead up for this joke makes no sense is just crisp classic Simpsons. Bart just so happens to be carrying a balloon with Krusty’s face on it (instead of an actual photo), there just so happens to be a sailor that literally looks like the deformed balloon, he JUST so happens to look a little like Krusty, despite having no affiliation with him, and the fact that he plays The Sailor’s Hornpipe (undoubtedly the second most stereotypical shanty aside from Drunken Sailor) is just the icing on the cake.
