Would be a nice trait in The Sims 2! I had a glitchy apartment lot and a pregnant Sim from another lot got stuck. I used TestingCheatsEnabled to see she was starving and going to die. So I held back playing that lot - I believe it was either Julien Cook's or single Cornwall Capp's townhouse. Then I played her family (originally an NPC until my character married her) until she had her twin boys and they grew to at least be children before going back to play the other lot that inevitably killed her. I realize I could have done more to save her - try to control her to make her eat or have the apartment owner move out first or just never play them again, but I turn aging off unless there are babies, teens, or kids, and I don't go trying to kill my Sims except in special circumstances, so whenever the chance for death arises, I just allow it. She woulda survived if she just kept pulling out nutrition bars though! RIP Caryl Zarubin

In the sims 4 if you have the RPO mod installed you cannot eat strawberries to get a girl or eat carrots to get a boy. That mod also allows teens to get pregnant which is not possible in the unmodded game. My sim named Serenity Rune became pregnant as a teenager after messing around with her boyfriend on a rocket ship. I would like to see teen pregnancy without mods in future sims games but only via alien abduction or via a rocket ship which would produce alien babies.

The sims 3 wins. There's also the details about wishes; when parents have preferences about the baby's gender about wanting a girl or a boy (sometimes even family members can have a wish about that). The pregnant sim may also have her mood affected by the pregnancy and will have back pain due to the weight of her belly (which if another sim offers a massage can help alleviate). The pregnancy in TS3 it's more realistic and with more details to me, so that's why it's my favorite

There is a small workaround for this, because if the outfit your sim is wearing before pregnancy is already valid as a pregnancy outfit, they will keep wearing that. I believe you can look up which clothes are valid pregnancy clothes, so in that way you can still kinda customize your sims pregnancy outfit

11:01 That's not true. Teenagers do have the pregnancy options in CAS. Not sure why, since they can't try for baby, but they have them. Maybe EA accounted the existence of teen pregnancy mods when creating this option? 😅 Oh, and the option to give birth in hospital in Sims 4 is also available without Get to Work. In that case, the pregnant Sim will leave the lot and after some time will return back with the new baby or babies, if twins or triplets. There is no option to send anyone else with them, but if the other parent is present on the lot, they will still go. The same thing will happen even with Get to Work installed when you choose the option "Send Alone". Yes, this is not very clear, but it's the same formulation as with the active careers or High School Years. And I definitely prefer Sims 4 when it comes to pregnancy, if for nothing else, then for the absence of those ugly pregnancy clothing. Pregnancy test is also more realistic, than lullaby from Sims 2 and 3. And yes, I definitely want a video about alien pregnancy. And maybe even video comparing Sims 4 science baby with Sims 3: Into the Future engineering babies wouldn't be a bed idea.

I am glad that they took out two things the lullaby when they woohoo and and I am thankful that in The Sims 4. The maternity clothes you don't have to wear. A life that they had added a pregnancy test instead. The only thing I don't like about it is it automatically gets you into first trimester. A couple things you missed: The size of your Sim's baby bump is dependent on the current weight of your sim. Their hunger, energy and bladder needs will decrease much faster while pregnant. You don't have to take a pregnancy test or share big news during the pregnancy. The weight your sim gains while pregnant will stay with them after the pregnancy and lastly, sims who have the "hates kids" trait will be tense or uncomfortable their whole pregnancy.

Watching kids shows and listening to kids music simultaneously in the sims 3 got you a higher chance at multiples

When I was a kid I didn’t even care if some activities was safe for the pregnant sim I made sure that the sim mood was okay.

I also noticed that the labor/birth noises are toned down in later versions. Sims 2 EVERYONE KNOWS THEY ARE HAVING A BABY! Sims 4: "This hurts, but I'm fine!"

It's kind of a tie between The Sims 2 & 4😍😍 (The Sims 3 not that much) And did you know you can have a science baby😍😍? (I did wished the sim had a belly and doesn't get pregnant straight away though, it's not realistic your kid is born by science right away😭😭)

i love the cutscene in The Sims 2 both when the sim is in labor and when trying for a baby, the most easy ways to get twins (if you have open for business installed) The Sims 4 wins for me because it's realistic once you did "try for a baby" there's no lullaby sound, having to do a pregnancy test to see if you're pregnant or not (we kind of have a lullaby sound once your sim is tested positive on a pregnancy test) you have lots of options about the pregnancy in CAS, both are off from work, you won't have to wear maternity clothes when pregnant and there are lots of ways to get twins or triplets the most realistic ones with which is allowed and which don't, it's The Sims 3 for a change that wins for me, there are lots of things that are dangerous while pregnant for certain reasons (surfboard is a bad idea to use it in The Sims 4 and in The Sims 2 apparently the swings aren't safe while this electric thingy do, it's NOT realistic) and the other thing they did well in The Sims 3 is having advices from other sims about a pregnancy

12:34 I actually had a Sims glitch at that exact location. My Not So Berry Red Gen Sim was taking a trip to that spa with her family, and was pregnant. And she went in that hot tub perfectly fine with no side effects. But she did this on her own will and I couldn't tell her to. I'm wondering if that's just my game, but I think they CAN go in hot tubs, but they have to do it autonomously.
