I use Blooming Rooms, Desert Luxe and Little Campers all the time - genuinely great choices! The new book nook kit is also really damn cute and useful

😂I've gotten "only" three build kits so far and all of them are on this list lol (Little Campers, Blooming Rooms and Pastel Pop). Clearly we both have a superb taste. 😆

We need some kits that the sims 3 store had for sims 4. The storybook kit, the 50’s diner kit, a swimming pool kit where we have in-bar for the pool and water fountain.

The swing set from Little Campers is, by far, my favourite. I end up placing it on EVERY lot where my Sims live. I also LOVE that activity table, it's the only one that I use now. Pastel Pop kit. Another that I really like. I also always use something from it just about everywhere.

Little Campers kit is my absolute favorite kit. I use the tent, blanket, and bed when I'm doing off the grid living challenges, because they make for a great little shelter for my sim to sleep in.

I don't have the little campers set, but I have the rest, and I completely agree with you on Blooming Rooms. It adds so much to a room to be able to add a little pop of color via plants for an empty corner in a room, and you can get some great makeshift greenhouses out of what's in the kit. I'm halfsies on the desert luxe kit (not a fan of the couch or fireplace), but the door is great (I love using it for sun rooms) and the curtains it came with are definitely one of the best in the game simply for the fact that it came with multiple sizes and in sections to accommodate different kinds of builders. The pastel pop kit is one that I end up using without realizing for an accent piece or two. I've only recently just started bothering to decorate children's rooms (I don't do much actual gameplay, so it doesn't really occur to me to build for families), and it's a great kit to have for a girly girl's room in particular. I could see pieces of it being useful to people who like the Japanese kawaii aesthetic too. Another kit (or maybe it's a pack?) that I like is the Romantic Gardens one. I think this on the Blooming Rooms kit complement each other very well. I haven't played much with it yet, since I'm taking a bit of a break from the game, but I really like the bookcases in the new Book Nook kit. I looove decorating libraries and studies in my builds, so I know I'll get a ton of use from it when I'm back in a playing mood. Now if only I could get the antiques and formal dining kits of my dreams 😍

In general, I do like most build kits, though some definitely needed more items (Courtyard Oasis...). I use Desert Luxe a lot when I play in Oasis Springs and, for those who can use cc, amoebae has Desert Luxe addons for most items with tons of colorful swatches.

And it highlights how odd the wallpaper is 🤭 I say that with love though. Plumbella's just got a different aesthetic, it's fine. One of the refreshing things about Satch is that he's honest about his true feelings on the game. Plumbella's a fun simmer, but Satch shouldn't feel the need to sanitize his aesthetic preferences (if that's what you're getting at) just because of one youtuber. He might have started working on this video before her room reveal anyway, and it might not have occurred to him to take it out if it were something he would've considered. At the end of the day, though, the shade is for EA.

My two favorites are Desert Luxe and Courtyard Oasis (Aladdin was my favorite Disney movie growing up and I can't wait for Assassin's Creed:Mirage), though I do wish it came with even more items.

Thanks for your review/opinions. I have 3/4 of the kits that you discussed and I only have maybe 7 kits total. Personally, I like the clutter kits because it makes the Sims homes seem less sterile and more realistic, but I see what you mean about gameplay. I have been on the fence about the Pastel Pop kit and maybe I'll move it up on the list of what's next for me. EA is stupid not to hire you. I do think your honest reviews actually sell some of this 'cash-grabby' stuff.

Brilliant choices, I use those kits all the time! Dont dis' the Blooming Rooms giant monstrosity though...I use him all the time in my basements. Just make a 1x3 window well and plonked him in (the bars on top are a useful safety feature to stop sims falling in!!LOL).

Actually i think for another kit idea involving plants they should make one with a bunch of outdoor plants/rocks because its kinda all the same tbh. And also since kits are "niche" i think they should release kits catered to specific cas options because some are very lacking. Like for example "long" hairs in the sims 4 base game plus packs aren't really long. So i wish they would add some pretty long hairs.

I will eventually get all the kits, but when they heavily discounted and/or free. I have 2 free (desert lux & Fashion thingy) and 2 bought (kids jungle & Pastel pop), there’s almost 20 of them 😲 1:27 that screen is not rain proof.

The only problem with them putting gameplay items into kits is that many people bought packs with those items FOR the gameplay and if you just put it in a kit for $25 or even $35 less, it's pretty crappy for those that bought at pack release. That being said, I agree that all kits should have some gameplay items. I just think they need to be VERY careful what they offer. For example, the tent in Little Campers is fine b/c it's unique from the others in Outdoor Retreat and Snowy Escape but the tv screen (while I LOVE IT) is kind of unfair to people who bought movie hangout just to have items that make sense with outdoor screenings.

I think they should to put more effort in create gameplay itens if the only selling point of a pack is a hot tub. Even when two packs have similar itens, like the movie screen, you will use them in different scenarios. You can get one or both depending your gameplay. Anyway I hate that I need to get discover university just to get bathroom stals or stand shower without the glass box. They are such ordinary itens that could have been include in different packs or even in base game.

Did you know that if you play the "Don't wake the llama" game from Get together on this new game table that comes with Little campers kit instead of the llama figure a yeti figure will appear. For me that's a really nice easter egg!

I highly recommend the video on her channel where she talks through it all coming together!🩷
