This stream is absolutely hilarious! I'm still giggling about Mike almost immediately "discovering fire", and the fire department turning up many hours later... only to complain about the lack of fire! Also, as a horse person, can confirm, some horses do like playing with a ball - they tend not to lean on it so much as poke it with their nose and push it around. However, they do NOT pee like that. Not in the slightest. Though it does indicate that Humble Ned is a mare.

Speaking from experience as a former game dev, your brain turns into oatmeal after 60-ish hours. Especially if you then sleep for 3 or 4 hours and then work another 60-ish hours and continue that pattern for 2 straight years. It's also a great way to end up in the emergency room twice.

I'm not sure if the chat eventually mentions it but there was an IRL campaign that popped up everywhere online (and possibly in emails?) for a while offering free earbuds. I don't remember who it was from or why they were offering free earbuds, I just remember it being very spammy, pretty sus, and briefly ubiquitous. When I first saw the Sims 4 loading screen quote saying "I don't want free earbuds," I just figured it was written by a dev who was just as sick of seeing those ads as I was. Now it appears to be some sort of Sims in-joke that they're running with but, originally, it was a real-world spam thing.

If you leave rubbish lying around outside long enough it will turn into a trash plant that gives trash fruit. Trash nectar may sound awful, but it does give decent benefits for animal interactions.

No shade intended, but I thought Jane would like to know that you can play Sims on consoles with a keyboard and mouse, which maybe she would find easier to use. If your setup has cables, just plug and play; if not, you can pair it with bluetooth or use that little USB thingy.
