Hello! Thanks for watching :) People call this 'animated' stop motion, though I am aware that stop motion is a form of animation 😅 Terminologies aside, I wasn't sure what you really call this type of stop motion with the extra animations. It's different from the standard 'appear-disappear' type. Let me know what you think! Also, I am Filipino living in the Philippines. I am fluent in English, but I do voiceovers less for a reason 😅 feel free to let me know if I mispronounced anything

Wasn't sure if you were aware, but I thought I would share... when TOOL is open, if you hold down CTRL, you can do things you would normally need to close tool for... like deleting objects with a hammer, moving them or selecting them in general without highlighting them in green, using the dropper tool, etc. The only trick (for me anyway) is just remembering to not use ctrl+z to undo those actions, only using the undo arrow at the top.
@paszerine2 жыл бұрын
Ohh thanks for the tip! I tried it immediately after reading, and it worked for selecting and moving objects but not deleting them with sledgehammer (to be fair, I dont think I updated TOOL yet so it just might be that). I'll keep this trick in mind, thank you 😊

What is the frame size? Many people recommend 00.00,15. What transition do you use (name) cross dissolve? And how long is it? I would be grateful for your answer. The video is cool and understandable 😍
@paszerine2 жыл бұрын
Frame size? You mean the resolution? I just go for the HD 1080 × 1920. Each still image is 10 frames by default but you can adjust that under Edit > Preferences > Timeline in Premiere. I just use cross dissolve but I'm looking for better transitions, however it's the simplest one you can use and it does the job quite well :) Glad you found this video helpful! I hope I was able to answer your questions.

Thank you so much for this tutorial! Its very informative and well done. Its really annoying sims doesnt allow us to change the hot keys for anything. It was the first thing i thought about when started taking screenshots. If only we could change the Undo command hotkeys so that its not moving the tab camera which forses us to reenter the TAB scene every time for each screenshot. As Z used for undo AND move the TAB camera. Could have saved us so much trouble. Its amazing i couldnt even find a mod that could change it. If anyone knows something like that please let me know.
@paszerine2 жыл бұрын
Glad this was helpful! Thanks for the feedback 😊 So true! The fact that we cant change the hotkeys is frustrating. Things wouldve been a lot easier if we could I sadly dont know any mods that can help us change the hotkeys, but I can try looking for one. My fear is that we would have to change the hotkeys each time there is a patch or update because it's just a mod

Both your stop motion tutorials have been so helpful. I do have a question if anyone can offer some insight... I've recorded gameplay scenes in regular speed with no issues but when I tried recording in 2x speed, it doesn't look smooth when I go to edit it (DaVinci Resolve). Anyone have ideas on if this is something that can be fixed through game settings/OBS settings/or editing software options?
@leojames73312 жыл бұрын
Thanks for this, it's really helpful. The only thing I really don't understand is the scene thing. Why start with scene 5? Then you go 5, 9, 8, 7. I don't get it. Why don't you just start with 1, or 9 if you're going backwards, and why does it even matter? Thanks :)
@paszerine2 жыл бұрын
Glad this was helpful! The thing is, you cant set your keyboard shortcuts in the Sims 4. Numbers 1-4 are other shortcuts in the game (1-3 is speeding up live mode. I wasnt sure what 4 did, however). Hence, you can only set your scenes at numbers 5-9 by default.
@leojames73312 жыл бұрын
@@paszerine Thank you for responding. I get that part now, what I don't understand at all is why you have to do "scenes" to begin with. You're enumerating scenes, but why? And if you only have 4 to work with then what happens when you need to do 6 scenes? Thanks
@paszerine2 жыл бұрын
@@leojames7331 i switch beack and forth between them when I record. It's a continuous process. You dont need to record 5 scenes you can just do 3 if that's what you prefer. I just want to maximize what I have, since we do only get 5 slots. When I need my 6th scene I just change the oldest scene into a new recording, provided that I dont need it anymore.
@leojames73312 жыл бұрын
@@paszerine Ok, I'm getting there, thanks for being patient and responding, you said something that points directly to my lack of undersratninf here. You said there are designated slots. Why and how? That's the crux of my lack of understanding. Why do you need slots? Why not just start your capture software and snap away? Thanks again, sorry it's taken me a while to grasp it :)
