I actually didn't know about the home decorator pack bc I stopped playing for about 4 years. I found out via a CallMeKevin video, where he just utterly destroyed everyone's houses- I'm talking garbage and dead fish on every inch of the floor, one single solid color for all decor (if they like red, EVERYTHING is red), he even removed all the interior walls so the house was like one big room. Guess what? The Sims LOVED their new decor🙄🤦‍♀️ It's absolutely ridiculous. He could've bulldozed the house and put furniture in their fav color on the lawn and the Sims would've been like, "Yay! I love it! Here's your money!" So stupid.

The only thing good about the rock climber is that if you are a famous SiM and put it in a gym outdoor area then in winter time your fans freeze to death while watching you work out on it. So I accidentally became a serial killer and got 7 tombstones near the rock climber machine. It was a fun experience and the cemetery is beautiful.

Expansion Packs: 1-Growing Together: Since I have parenthood, I don't use Growing Together at all, even if I use I use not that much since I am all okay with parenthood. 2-For Rent: Do I need to talk about it? Game Packs: 1-Vampires: I know, it is... different. But hear me out! the only thing I love about Vampires is it has its own pack, the things I don't like in Vampires Pack is the quirks of Vampires are so shallow, like I did my sim the best Vampire and do you know wha thappened? He only made a sims dazed for a few hours. In short, the quirks are just like cheats I am doing to get the exact same emotion while playing the base game. 2-Jungle Adventure: Hear me out, I actually loved jungle adventure at first. But since this game is an EA game, it is always at first. The thing I don't like in this pack is it is not re-playable, you play it for 3-4 hours, get sad, happy, excited and then... pack is just finished. Stuff Packs: 1-Luxury Party Stuff: Okay, Okay I know. This is the second pack came to the Sims 4 (as far as I remember) it is normal to be this pack so shallow, but EA refreshed Spa Day Game Pack, what about Luxury Stuff? (And other all packs^^) The pack only comes with a few 2000 outfits, chocolate mountain and thats all. 2- Bowling Night Stuff: The whole pack is it's game. Just a bowling object, a few new animations, a few new "modern" objects, a stupid competition pop-up. I wish they made Bowling Night Stuff with City Living. (I am learning English, so my grammar could be bad and I am sorry if this comment was too long :

Absolutely agree with the butler malfunctioning -- they at least need to add an action to the "management" section of the butler communication to be able to direct the butler to do the chores they missed. Most of the time my sims are pissed about how dirty their fitness area is and the butler is standing across the house, doing that dumb action where they swipe their finger and pretend there is no dust. I mean, I guess it's good because your sim can still build their handiness skill and earn a neat trait. That said, I don't think that the butler was optimized together with the release of Bust the Dust.

I’m glad you made the point about JtB. It is a VERY niche experience but as a huge Star Wars and sims fan I enjoyed it. It was my first standalone game pack purchase and I was hesitant because of the reviews but it’s honestly not bad. The droid and lightsaber gameplay is great and if you have seasons you can gift lightsabers to npcs to make more opponents. The storyline was decent (coming from someone who didn’t like the sequels). Personally I think they should’ve leaned into the occult side of Star Wars more than the vacation side making it a full world with a new sim state (force-sensitive). I also think the aspirations and storyline should’ve revolves around Jedi vs sith which is a more universal Star Wars theme than first order vs rebels. But it’s not a bad pack and it’s comparable to me to other occult packs which are also quite niche. If you want an action/adventure Star Wars experience I’d suggest Jedi survivor and if you want a tactical roleplay Star Wars experience I’d suggest knights of the old republic. But Jtb has its place as a Star Wars roleplay simulator game. At the moment it has the best character customization of any Star Wars game by a mile.

I have been checking european laws and we have 30 days after update to ask for a refund. Since the game is constabtly modified, it counts as continuous content. And I am currently asking for a refund. Ofc they wont give it to me, but I will sue since I have been documenting how poorly ts4 and ea support team perform. I'll let you in on it if you guys want. I got my first pet stuff and the fitness kit that comes with yoga in a bundle for an expansion I did want. City Living? Maybe? All I remember is it was one that had literally nothing to do with pets or fitness, so I had no idea why it was bundled this way. But the bundle was cheaper than just getting City Living by itself so I went with it. I do enjoy having yoga in my game, but not so much that I ever would have bought it on purpose. I've never used anything from my first pet stuff.

A lot of these have the same theme in a way (not just the bugs and glitches), but I've noticed that EA DOES NOT want to make new animations at all... They constantly reuse animations and the game would feel a little more lively if they had made new animations for things / interactions / features. There’s such a problem separating out features to different packs so they can’t make new packs that utilize those features like dinning out. I have tried the dream home decorator career once hoping to find something new to do. I couldn't finish any jobs, because it glitched every time I tried to charge the customer. Ended up making no money and not being able to pick up new jobs before I manually cancelled the last one and made everyone upset. I want a refund for the Rent pack. My aunt got it for me when it first came out and the Residential Rental lot type isn't available except for 3 lots in San Sequoia for some reason. I guess a lot of them only because it cost so much with small content. With the wedding stories I was excited but now I just don’t bother with it because it is hard to navigate through that one. I had a wedding and a lot of times it didn’t go as I planned. It would take the bride and groom a long time to get married or do their first dance and the time would run out and everybody left.

I got a refund from EA one single time when the purchase of a pack didn’t go through and we accidentally bought it twice. I only wanted it because it was on sale and it ended up not mattering because 40 dollars were spent anyway. They did refund us the extra 20 dollars but the guy on the support chat seemed really hesitant. Packs should be refundable by default in my eyes even if you have to clean up your saves before you can get rid of them to avoid corruption or something. So many of them are so shit 😭😭

I was so excited for horse ranch. Before it was even out, I made a sim specifically for it and built a big pink ranch style house and was fully planning to pre-order it. But with all of the bugs EA was having at the time, I decided to wait and watch different reviews. I even gave them the benefit of the doubt after watching the youtubers that got early access because I really wanted to trust that they would work it out, or maybe withheld some of the gameplay? But no, that was it. Now it's on sale and I still don't know if it would be worth it. I got High school Years and Get Together at the same time with the last sale, and had I gotten one first I would have stopped giving them money due to how many bugs are in the main draws of gameplay for each pack.

The only reason I have My First Pet Stuff is that it was free on the EA app at some point. I feel like the number one pack that should be refunded is Luxury Party Stuff. There are like 10 items maximum. I don't remember exactly how many, but it was one of the first add-ons I bought, and it was such a scam. I did actually like the Moschino Stuff pack but specifically for the picture frames. I like my sims to be able to display pictures they took themselves. But you are completely right, the clothes are hideous. If they can't fix My Wedding Stories, Dine Out, or High School years, I don't know. They were able to update Spa Day, so I don't see why they can't do those too.
