Oh wow, Joy! 😯😍 This is *SO* beautiful and I never would’ve guessed that it was _this_ easy! 😲 I don’t glitch at all so for me it’s extra exciting to come across little tricks like this. 👏🏻🥳🥂💃🏼 I’m curious tho - why is it that you stopped glitching? 🤔 You were so good at it!! 🥰

Hiya! Well I stopped glitching for a number of reasons… (1) It’s not an actual feature created by SFP - it’s actually a mistake, so each time a glitch is discovered it’s exciting and one becomes dependent on the technique, when it’s patched because a new update comes along and fixes these previous mistakes which we call glitches, it’s very upsetting for players who have relied on the technique even though the fact remains that these are errors in the game. (2) As lovely as the glitch might be, after hours of building, one might suddenly need to make a change which causes the glitch to get thrown off and it’s a tedious process to start all over again glitching… not much fun. (3) uploading these glitches and then finding out they don’t work anymore is upsetting for viewers who find the video years later and discover it no longer works - so the uploads are not useful in the long run. (4) There’s a lot of unnecessary controversy and petty arguing over who found the glitch and who was or wasn’t credited. (5) SFP aren’t in support of glitches as per point 1 - they are mistakes which will get fixed unless it’s an actual new feature in an actual update. (6) I play the game for fun and want it to remain that way - stress free. 😇😌

Wow, very well said! Thanks for the explanation as to why you stopped doing it. I used to be in a a large FB group (that has since been shut down) for SFP glitching because even though I don’t glitch, I have always enjoyed looking at other Simmers’ glitching creations. I remember all of the unnecessary drama that went on in that group for the reasons you mentioned above. I would often wonder “People - Why are you doing this to yourselves?! This is a game! You’re supposed to be having fun, not fighting!” But, to each their own I guess… The only glitches I’ve ever done were the 65K glitches for my orbs.. Other than that, I don’t have the patience to bother with it! Plus, I am already so indecisive when it comes to decorating without glitching… If I started glitching, it would take me two months just to finish a single room, let alone a whole house! Lol! Thanks… it happened by mistake and I thought “wow I’m going to use this”. The SFP might decide later that they no longer want this arch to go in the basement, meaning this style of gardening won’t work anymore, but until then I’ll use it. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Thanks, I can’t call this a glitch because I really did not manipulate anything, the arch simply goes in the basement ( it goes indoors and outdoors too) and because it’s taller than the room height, it pops up out the next floor or room. I was building the Shabby Chic house last week when I decided to place the arch in the basement because I didn’t want to put it into my inventory and start looking for it all over again when I needed it, I come out of build mode and see it’s sticking up on the ground level under one of the trees, so that’s how I stumbled upon it last week, before uploading last Friday. 🌺🤗
