Ever since Physical Vr. Builder, Steve hasn't really done anything intentionally damaging to Alex. In Physical Vs. Builder, he was just trying to impress her with his massive machines. In Hello, Young Lady, it's made clear that he's trying to trap mobs and keep them away from his house, she just happens to fall for the traps. And in this, he was just trying to help her hunt the rabbit that she seemed to want to kill. The closest thing was at the end of Raid, when he put a block of TNT in her hands, but you can clearly see he's panicked and flustered, so he just resorted to the first thing he thought of. Love the character development!
