Great video. I’ve got an R3 BRB as well. I would only like to add that I’ve seen if the shock timer has less slightly less than half, I get the burst. I don’t wait until 25% or a third left.

Totally fair - I'm always paranoid that my SP1 will end a few frames before the shocks do and so I like to wait longer than you probably need to

Nice video. By the way, I just wanted you to know that I watched dll’s review, and the 40% increase from the sig is additive to the 300% increase using the sp1. So with max sig and using sp1 it’s 340% increased potency

Love the champ, I took him to 7R2. If I had one wish it would be to give him an alternate form of damage vs Shock Immune opponents. I think they should have made it if opponent is Shock Immune he inflicts Rupture instead. This would be a reference to how strong he is in the comics. Even if they are Immune to the Shock, his blows are so strong they Rupture the opponent. Or if opponent is Shock Immune he gets a Fury with a lower potency and duration than his SP1 Fury. Max stacks 3. That could give him 6 Fury to deal damage instead of Shock.

@@LinzStrud His SP3 gives him an alternate route to damage for shock immune defenders. It’s not going to be as good, but he’s already so powerful that giving him an alternate DOT type would be way too overpowered.

Welp, considering that I've never ONCE in my life successfully used Scorpion's heavy hold cancel into SP2 in my life (and I use him all the time), I fear I spent $30 on a champ I'm never going to be able to figure out how to use to their full potential.

The way I learnt to perfect it is by practicing Special Intercepts with Hercules a lot first then slowly starting to apply heavy to it with a relevant char like scorpion who can hold their heavies for a long time until I eventually get it. It does feel daunting but as you keep practicing , trust me it happens, just like parry, reparry etc

how does his burst damage bypass FAM's awakened ability to cap the damage from any source to 10%? Even Galan's harvest that bypasses many nodes and abilities can't do that, and from what's written doesn't make much sense that he can, what am I missing?

Great question. I asked the team about this and the difference is that behind the scenes, Bill is coded to inflict an individual burst per shock, but they are tallied up and displayed as a single value. So each individual burst is not strong enough to trigger FAM's sig. Galan's Harvest is coded as one single flat value which is why it will trigger the protection.

why did your burst damage at 4:44 do more than your burst damage at 4:59? my BRB at R1 did a 161k burst then a 226k burst with 9 shocks, but your (im assuming R2 in the clip) did significantly less doing the exact same rotation with only 1 less shock?

Hmm, I wonder if the burst is somehow made to be lower if it's going to KO the opponent. I'll check with his designer on this. Is your Bill duped?

@@simula67 Its because he died, it's the same case with quicksilver, when the burst damage is more than your remaining health it only counts the remaining health as damage and shows it as the red number

Im wondering what would be better gaining 3 furies by just spamming sp1 or waiting until the shocks are about to expire if i do that method my furies expire and I only get 2 instead of 3, So more furies or wait until the shocks are about to expire is the question on what does more damage..

Gonna be real tough to keep furies active without the buff pause, which specifically looks for cancelling the heavy into the SP2. Possible I'm misunderstanding what you're suggesting though?

No - that stat focus is not an attack increase, it's a damage modifier. It also wouldn't affect red damage to my knowledge.

He's not power burn immune and so will still take damage from Peni's shield. He won't get power drained against Red Skull but will still take damage if you hit his block. Against Red Skull you can repeatedly remove his armors with your first medium attack. Not the greatest counter, but not the worst either.

Sad that with the AI being so passive. When i use the heavy rotation just like with scorpion they just sit and wait me out or frame skip dash and hit me, or my sp doesn’t go off at all. These guides need those facts in there. He isn’t good when the AI fights to stop ur rotation on purpose.
