One thing I don't understand: don't you have to switch off the "Global Contact" after defining the contact set? And if you apply an axial load on the frictionless (contacts) axle - would'nt it be pushed out of the bearing, causing solidworks to complain about a too big movement...?

Would you get similar results if you simply change the defaulted Global Contact "bonded" to "no penetration"? It would save a couple steps here I believe.

Can we just set the global contact to no penetration in this case ? And what will happen if we delete the global bonded contact and let only the local contacts on your case ?
