I have to say we have been visiting Oughterard for 24yrs until the Covid lie arrived!. .One night we went into The Boat Inn after coming from a .Saw Doctors',concert in Galway. We sat at a table and there was a young girl sitting with her parents . Just the young woman,her parents and my husband and me . She started to sing the song ,'Raglan Rose, 'no music,just her beautiful voice. What an amazing memory my husband and I have of this ,it was so beautiful .
