I've been working on a Ghost Rider series script(s). While these scripts will never see the light of day, I've made myself happy since this is what I wanted to do since I was a kid. This little selection of clips is a great reminder of all the Ghost Riders I've experienced through my life.

1:08 and that song was based on a true story. At a place now known as stampede Mesa. In 1889, a cattle herder was moving about 1000 head, and decided to go through this Mesa, but found that someone has settled on it. There was also a storm brewing as well at the same time. Not caring about the settlers, this guy caused her to stampede, killing her only the people in that Homestead, but also the very ranchers that were trying to guide the herd. About 700 cattle went over the side, along with those ranchers. That guy never worked again and vanished. Ever since then, there are reports of supernatural occurrences in that area. Reports of seeing ghost herds. Some even causing similar stampedes of cattle guided by those stupid enough to go through that Mesa, only adding the body count. This is the true foundation of not only the song, but the ghost rider himself.

So in conclusion: Stan Lee was an ABSOLUTE GENIUS, the whole industry owes him. RIP Mr. Lee, you were a Treasure!

I just read the entire run of Johnny blaze as the ghost rider. I gotta say, I like the development of this dichotomy between both personalities. Have Johnny at first felt that he was losing more of himself. Every time he transformed, how are you didn't sound like himself, and he seemed more bitter vengeful. Then it gradually became alternate personality that Johnny could only influence to a small degree. It became more of a Jekyll and Hyde dynamic than Bruce Banner and the Hulk. The Hulk never wanted to do evil, but the ghost writer was only restrained to punish the guilty because of Johnny blaze as the host body. I just wish that when they brought him back in thousand six, they didn't give him the look of Dan's ghost rider

I agree with you, I think the spikes design belongs to Danny Ketch not Johnny Blaze, and I definitely think they could've done more with Johnny Blaze

@OmegaBlue6199 Johnny seems underrated compared to Danny Ketch.

"Little boys like Ghost Rider..." that may have been true but times have changed. I went to see Wolverine/Deadpool and was surprised to see two 12-year-old girls in the audience who enjoyed the movie even more than I did! It's different from my day when attitudes were more sexist - "girls dance and boys play sport." I find it heartening how things have changed, and genres aren't stuck to one identity of audience.

I never liked the 90s look for Johnny blaze. I mean, the long hair, the trenchcoat, the chain-smoking. It was like he was going through a depression or something. I mean, the guy got what he wanted. He was free of the ghost rider, he was with Roxanne again, they had kids, he owned the circus, and yet he looked like he was going through rough times.

No offense to all the loyal Ghost Rider fans, because I too am a fan. But just for the sake of fun, I wouldn't mind seeing Ghost Rider get a slight name change and overall look. He can still have the same origins and everything else. But I think he could be called one of two different awesome names that I think fit the character better. I would have called him either "Hell Rider" or "Speed Demon." Now, I love the name Ghost Rider by all means, still do, but I like how these names sound. These are just my opinions, so take it for what you will. Just thought I would mention this. 🙂💀🔥🏍⛓️

Johnny Blaze was a stuntman/circus performer. He was NOT a biker who did dirty work for corrupt law enforcement (I will never understand why offenders have such a cozy relationship with the law enforcement community who destroyed their lives).
