Tim Curry is a legend. Not just because he's a brilliant entertainer, but he has made a career out of being am entertainer with no set backs. Yes he's not in films every five minutes but he's always stayed in the industry. Theater, TV, Films, Voice Overs. Tim has done it all. Tim Curry is Awesome.

Legendary! Tim Curry is so good. Besides IT and RHPS, I loved him in Clue as the butler Wadsworth. VERY UNDERRATED MOVIE AND PERFORMANCE. I really hate that IT is getting remade for no fucking reason. He will always be Pennywise.

+Jack Moody I really disagree sir. Yes, Tim was the best thing in it, no doubt. Ive read the book a few times and a lot of the things they left out, would've really hurt the film aesthetically, for example Patrick Hockstetter and what really went on in the sewers. I mean, the book is wonderful but it does have its very dark turns that almost drives away from the story. The miniseries focused more on the clown and his legend, which is wonderful because it made for him what Nightmare did for Freddy. I dont think the movie was bad or terrible, it was just cheesy tv product. Not an SK screenplay movie that desperately needs a remake. That's reserved for The Langoliers.

The book deserves a decent adaptation, something the miniseries is not.

I love the original It mini-series, and to this day Tim Curry's Pennywise is the only thing that ever truly scared me. I've also read the book twice, and am in the process of reading it a third time. I think the mini-series gets a lot of unfair criticism, and is a lot better than people give it credit for. With that said I can't help but be excited for the new one, and I'm the type of person who loathes remakes in any way shape or form, but with the first being just a televised mini-series, this one doesn't bother me so much. I'm still of the opinion that for the story to be properly told it needed to be done in a longer mini-series form, but I'm still interested to see what they do with the movie. Tim Curry will always be my definitive Pennywise though.

Well, for a long time he was very reluctant to talk about being in Rocky Horror. However, in recent years, he's become somewhat more open about playing Frank and now sees the film as a "rite of passage" for teenagers. I don't recall him ever hating Frank N Furter or Rocky Horror in general. He simply avoided talking about it for several years because he was getting creeped out by all the crazed fans stalking him and going through his trash.

He's not... People just erroneously believe he is because of his role as Frank-N-Furter... People shouldn't go and assume that Tim Curry is gay based solely on a role he did back in the late 70's... Besides, that was the role that launched his career... Also, people shouldn't dwell on that role alone... Tim Curry has had many awesome roles... He was great as Cardinal Richelieu in TTM, as Trymon in The Color of Magic, as Coeur De Noir in The Secret of Moonacre, as Wadsworth in Clue...
