My bunny doesn't chew on anything. Cords, wires, wood, walls, doors, corners, entertainment centers, chairs. NOTHING. I love her so much! She's such a blessing and she's free roam in my bedroom only, because of my parents and other animals, her and my dog love each other, and we also use her poop as plant fertilizer 😂
@hollie14172 жыл бұрын
Bunnies really do chew up EVERYTHING!! Cords, walls, baseboards, literally any wood and so much more haha. This is why they need to have lots of toys, no need to buy them, cardboard and untreated wood are totally fine for them. Luv ur videos 🥰

My rabbit doesn't seem to like chewing wood (she ignores wood toys and never chews up my wooden furnitures), although she sometimes still chews up smaller apple sticks. Her biggest victims are cords, I've replaced so many. 🤦♀️ She only attacks cardboards when she's bored.

so far my bunny hasn't really chewen anything unappropriate (expected a litttle amount of cardboard and the bag her hay was in lol) up which im really suprised of. It's nice because i live on rent and have to keep the apartment neat, but at the same time idk if i should be worried. Because everyone says their bunnies chew. She doesn't. her teeth are fine it's not because of that

They will chew anything including your thigh. I had a tooth mark for every time I picked Muffin up. Finally after about a week and a half, he stopped doing that. I would only pick him up when he would come up and beg to be in my lap. I figured the biting might just be his way of initiating me in as his new mom. So I just gently put him down whenever he bit. With patience, he was finally just happy to sit quietly and be petted as I softly spoke to him. He ended up being the quieter and calmer of the two we had at the time. All rabbits are so sweet.

On sound sensitivity: When I get sick and throw up, it sounds like I'm dying (I can't help how my body forces out the air from my lungs). One of our bunnies absolutely freaked out at me puking my guts out and stomped his feet and looked at me really worried and it took a while for me to calm him down. But after the third time this happened during the same day, he was just chilling next to me wondering why humans occasionally want to yell at toilets.

My boy would come up onto the bed and wait for me to move the duvet so he could come in and snuggle, it was so adorable. His little wife hates cuddles... He would chew and rip up anything and everything, made the free roaming a lot more difficult, but my girl only chews the carpet when I'm in the room with her to get my attention in the hopes that I'll open the door where the food's kept... 2 very different little floofs :D

We collected all the exotic pet doctors and we always help the others with hay, pellets or even medicine for bunnies if there is needed. Hi Morgan and Cinnabun. My Bunny Bebe doesn't chew. Not even on her Willow toys. It's odd and I worry about her teeth but her teeth are doing just fine. As for cuddling, oh boy, Bebs loves a cuddle or should I say snuggle. She gets very bossy for them. I must snuggle her several times a day. We have full blown snuggles with lots of kisses. Like Cinnabun she's an only rabbit but she absolutely thrives being free roam. I think she's been humanized if I'm completely honest 😂😂 Any who, big bunny hugs from Australia 😘

I've always have had small pets of my own. I particularly love bunnies. I already knew what I potentially would be walking into but that would remain a mystery till I allowed my little guy and his brother (now my friends bun) free roam with supervision). Definitely not cord chewers and they have enough toys that they don't really chew on anything. One's very social and loves attention while the other likes his own space and attention when he signals to me that he wants attention. My partner still has a lot to learn about buns but taking it one day at a time with him.

I was the same about the noise factor we have a dog who barks and Billy didn't hardly rect and I realized he got used to the noise he grew up seeing and hearing the dog, when I first got him he was 8 week old and I kept him in a rabbit cage up high above the dog and held him and and petted him, but very soon I realized he was just going to have to get used to the household noises, so first I placed him with his cage inside the dog kennel i put in a litter box inside his cage and opened and cage door inside the kennel he could get out and walk around within the confines of the kennel, this kept his living space small and he learned quickly to use his litter I used the same principles as with puppy training, he could play in a supervised way, and when not watched he was in his crate. In essence I crate trained my bunny and used the same principles as puppy house training, after a while when I knew he was well in to his litter training I removed the rabbit cage from the kennel, and now he has the kennel and I let him out in the house to run around with the dog, so he grew up at ground level with the dog running around the house making noise and barking, this most of the time does not bother him, though occasionally the dog will come charging in barking hysterically and startle the rabbit but most often his loud barking and charging around guarding the house doesn't much bother Billy. I'm not sure that Billy doesn't have hearing problems, it seems like he doesn't react to sounds like i would think a rabbit would, but that might be just that he is a mellow little guy, when he was a baby especially I wondered if he was okay he just didn't seem to notice loud noises. and even when he does he doesn't act like many other rabbits we have had who just go wild charging around like they are being killed, lol Billy has been frightened at times and i sit with him and calm him down buy petting him gently and tickling his ears he calms down fast. so he is fitting in well with our home. ad seems okay with the dog we do have to supervise them together and that will always be the case. always wit any dog you don't leave them alone together. in the past we had outdoor dogs and free running rabbits, we eft our dogs home and rabbits running freely and the dogs were fine with them, even though they were outside together all day when we were home. but the times when we didn't get the bunnies in before we left to go out and figured they were okay, it seemed the minute we left the dogs did a they pleased even though they had been fine all day with the rabbit. it was very strange that they did what ever they wanted when we were gone. yet were like angels when they knew we were home. hmmm very sinister lolol like they planned it, hmmmmm

I might get a bunny soon soo the only (current) question i have is How many times a day should i feed a bunny? 2 times or 3 times?

2, with 1 cup pellets and unlimited affalfa hay, once the bunny is over 3 months, get Timothy hay instead of alfalfa and after 6 months, do 1/4 cup per 5 pounds your bunny weighs , and a cup of spring mix veggies (I think cinnabun made a video on this but if u wanna know I think lennon the bunny also did)

I feed my bun twice a day. Once in the morning, once at night. I also give him a salad with his dinner. Hope this helps! So excited for you

In the mornings I give mine his treats and in the evenings he gets his main meal.

Up to you! I do twice a day - one big salad and pellets in the am, then pellets in the pm + unlimited hay! But I know some people split the salad into two servings!

I’m in the process of training my bun that stepping on me isn’t bad, she now gets treats when all 4 paws are on my chest. She has gotten used to it a bit now and I can pet her while she is chowing down on her treats

I was lucky with Billy, we bonded straight away but my vet told me that because he'd been sold to me at 4 weeks of age (long story about the dodgy breeder) it was way easier for him to trust me and be close to me as he was such a baby and couldn't remember a time without me. Rabbits that I've had at the proper 8 weeks stage, took months to bond and also, if I had them in pairs they'd be bonded together and didn't feel the need to bond with me at all 😭. I got lucky with Billy! X

My sisters got bunnies for their birthday. The one had a really shy one but my sister wanted to cuddle all the time. I guess she got used to it because she is easier to hold but still little jumpy. The other one was more outgoing but less trusting so it really depends!

Soo I’m kinda in freak out mode hoping you see this comment 🤞🏾 .. I actually just lost my bun “Potato” after 3 yrs and I actually got another pair cuz I just really needed another bun around .. I bought these 2 from someone who had an accidental pregnancy but they’re only 6 weeks and I’m soooo nervous about their diets and poops .. what did you feed Cinnabun when you got her? And what were her poops like .. if you can remember? 🙏🏾❤️ I really need more bun mom friends to call on lol .. but seriously.
